Another example of Donaire fighting a guy much too small. The 5ft2 Marquez was coming off a loss and moving up in weight to challenge him, but I give him credit for trying to make it a fight despite the disadvantages.

@TheJaguarKnight You don't know shit about boxing! Boxing is about weight class not height. As long as you can make the contracted weight there is a fight. FYI in weigh-in Donaire weigh-in 114 1/2 lb while Hernan Marquez weigh-in 115 lb. Your boxing IQ is poor.

You can't be so naive to believe that size is an insignificant factor. Hernan is a naturally small Flyweight MOVING UP to fight a naturally large Superflyweight (who walks around in the 140s). Yes, boxing is about weight classes, and Hernan is NOT a S Flyweight. He didn't move up to this division because he had outgrown Flyweight or intended to campaign there permanently, he moved up specifically because Nonito was looking to fight a smaller & green opponent coming off a loss.

@LongDongSilver78 well bantam is 118 and feather is 126.. 8 pounds.. what i meant is he needs to get used to feather weight if he wanna fight juanma as juanma is the bigger guy.. to see if nonito's punch can be still a factor in the bigger weight class.. and if he can take the punches at feather weight.. and also speed is a factor if he moves up(but i highly doubt he'll lose speed.. eat rice alot and u got more carbohyrdrates to go 15 rounds..) hahaha

@nikole921 yeah not a huge difference in weight. nonito can put on another 20 lbs before his career's done and maybe aim for middleweight titles if he puts on more muscle, seeing how far pacquiao's come up to 147 from 108 for example. donaire moves too well, has strong legs, hits hard for a flyweight and has stood out in flyweight the most, time to move up. the filipino diet can be one of the best for a boxer, carbs from rice and healthy lean proteins.

Otherwise he's going to be weight drained.I'm surprised he can still make it but it'll take it's toll on his legs and body.I think superbantamweight is good for Donaire then go to 126.But we don't how the move will effect speed, power and his ability to take a punch from those fighters.
