you all can bash Courtney as much as you want, but she is a gifted song writer. This song aka the cords may be originally kurts. But he obviously gave it to her cuz Hole has versions of this going back to before he died. I am sick of the bashing. Just get over it. one of the best courtney videos ive ever seen! i love how its chronological..you can also see how much she has changed her face haha...i think she was beautiful at 1990 but i REALLY dont see why she thought she wasnt perfect during Malibu era...i wish she would like herself :(

Really nice Video Nevermind, ignore the trolls. Courtney & Kurt had completely different writing styles, and they borrowed from each other and shared lots of things. The title of Nirvana's last studio album, "In Utero" is a phrase from Courtney's journals that Kurt was reading... they were both really beautiful...

Kurt wrote completely different lyrics to this song, and he gave Courtney the chord progression, and she put completely different lyrics to it. Kurt didn't write this. His whole writing style was way more abstract than Courtney's, so I find it funny that everyone thinks he wrote all her songs. They didn't share the same writing style. This is the best version I have ever heard of this song, and give credit where credit's due to Courtney Love for writing it.

No. Old age was his song. There are tonnes of songs that are not typical of kurt's style that weren't released. Have you ever heard Do you love me? Or Do-Re-Mi? They may not have wrote Do you love me because it was rather campy, but my point is that they experimented.Each nirvana album has a unique sound. Type in nirvana Old age in youtube.I bet you there is a version of kurt singing it. It's a nirvana track.

I was just about to point that out haha. I said I know Kurt wrote the chord progression and a different set of lyrics to this song. Courtney wrote the lyrics to this song. And yes I've heard all the songs you're talking about, and Do-Re-Mi was not out of character for him lyrically. I'm a huge Nirvana and Courtney fan, and like I say, credit where credit's due.
