@SoulfulElectricity I'm sorry, not quite good enough to win "Troll of the Week" - try to be more like the guy 3 weeks ago? ;-) You know, there are people called "circuitbenders" who make some very interesting music out of modified toys. Open your mind to something besides mass produced "pop"!
@SoulfulElectricity actually, the Bliptronic 5000 shown here is now being circuitbent for me ( hopefully a pitch mod, to get some bass tones out of it. )
ye that would be rad!!! when you have modded your bliptronic, post a vid!!! when i hear a real hard (brighton-techno-like) sound, i will be convinced^^
@AMOKIAN right! ;-) Tenori looks best in near complete darkness because the lights are BRIGHT ( more so than the touchscreen apps ) Especially with a circuit bent Bliptronic, right? ;-)
@TheOfficialComokanu actually, you GET IT. ;-) That's why I thought it was "Teaparty". Also, it does sound a little like the tune from the Mad Teaparty? =);-)
why do people think that a lot of expensive techy devices would make them musitians? :( This is so CRAP! I would really like to hear a decent song mady with this setup!
@blueeye007 you're not invited to the next tea party. ;-) You offended the Mad Hatter with such poor manners.
Seriously, I believe what commenters like you don't understand is that electronic music ( and this sub style, which I call "gadget music" ) is a NEW STYLE of music ( like punk, jazz or hip hop - a radical departure ) that should be appreciated for it's OWN thing - this is certainly not mainstream rock and roll, but it is FUN - lighten up! Enjoy it! Make something "better" yourself!
@VJFranzK I am really am sorry if my comment offended you in any way. You are fee to call IT what you want but please dont call it music or even call it a sub style of electronic music. To call it music it should at lease have the basics of music stucture. I strongly encourage anyone to use gadgets to produce music. BUT it should be more creative than this. Having tonal and rythmmical elements dosesnt make it music. You could call the dayly rush-hour noise music, but it isnt.
@blueeye007 I still think you may judge me too harshly, but "music" is in the ear of the beholder? So you are surely entitled to your opinion. Take a look at some newer videos on this channel, and perhaps you will find something else you like? I do not consider this particular video one of my "masterpieces"! Just one of many explorations towards the evolution of a branch of "music" for future years. Everyone - keep your mind, and ears open!
@blueeye007 Golly, who are you to say what music is? Who are you to say what creative is? And your "free to call IT what you want, but...." line was classic. So, here's one for you. You're free to your opinion here on Youtube, but you could push someone into a sucidal depression with your negative ass crap. Some people are sensitive, man.
oh,... and yes I forgot... I have made some better and awarded electronic music genre songs myself. Thank you for asking. After 20 years of music production I would say I have a little experience in using even gadgets for music production. You could play a violin or a piano and let them sound really crapy like your "Quartet". Please be aware that its not the gadgets which are making music. YOU should be the creative and talented one...
@KaslarProductions To clarify, it has no MIDI, but DOES have CV synch in and out, which can be worked with creatively. See some of my newer videos with BT5K and MonoTribe! and Electribe ESX
@FSK1138 True, it's less DSP, but you might be missing the point? ;-) In this age of touch screen devices (see my other video with EIGHT!) there's something fun / tactile / interactive about controls you can actually feel - on the Tenori each note or beat is a seperate button - it's like "HAND CANDY"!
They are also out of synch here, but that creates an interesting variation in timings - not everything needs to be locked to "4 on the floor"! There is so much more possible...
you could have get that cheaper by get yourself some fisher price toy pianos, you would like it, they sound like crap too

bliptronic have midi in/out?
KaslarProductions 1 year ago
@KaslarProductions No it doesn't, too bad. ;-) Here I am running all the apps at similar tempos and just "going for it", so to speak!
There are many possibilities for jamming with various devices, even without "tempo synch"
VJFranzK 1 year ago
@KaslarProductions like you say too bad... It IS way affordable though so I forgive them...
KaslarProductions 1 year ago
@KaslarProductions No it doesnt, but you can buy a DIY to make it fully midi enabled :)
