How is the Mahindra holding up? How many hours are on it? Would you buy or recommend a Mahindra tractor to people? Have you had any problems? If so, has the dealer and/or Mahindra taken care of them? Thanks
we use to have a mahindra tractor about 2 sizes bigger than that one with a backhoe attachment(bought it after we sold the old ford 555). but it didnt have the shuddle shift like the ol' ford. it was a good tractor, but the clutch was way too stiff, the hand break was too stiff, and the back end was to light. i almost fliped it forward a few times moving huge wooded fence posts with the fork attachment for the front end(3 at a time)
i liked the 1975 ford better, but it was just too big and old
I don't do anything heavy with this tractor. I mow a couple a acres and pick up big stuff that my back can't handle anymore. I rototil and just move dirt around for fun,
Does your 3510 have an accelerator? Thought it might be hydrostatic until I saw you shift on the collum. I looked at the Mahindra very close last year but it came down to Kubota or Mahindra, couldn't have both so I got orange.
Yes it has an accelerator on the right side (foot pedal) Reverse and forward handle on the left side of steering column. The speed or accelerator is a handle also on the right side off steering wheel.
So far Im very happy with it. I have 2 acres and it serves me well. No breakdowns and glad I got the 3510. Price was right. The other tractors are great but a little pricey for me..
my freind had a 70 hp mahindra and he was pulling a small vermere round baller and it would not stay in gear so he took it to the dealer and they had to put new gears in the trainsmison.
Mine is a 38 horse a bit smaller. These tractors are good for ceertain things, mooving dirt, I think. You have to go to more of a commercial tractor "Case" for that hard work.
um all Mahindra tractors are made in India... All parts are shipped from India, and in the USA you simply perform the final assembly and the 51point check...
This is a 3510 with a 72" front bucket. I love it. It is used on our 2 acres and my neighbors house. I keep a 6' scraper box on the rear for weight distribution. If you get one I would suggest a 6'. Tractor has plenty of power for it. No I didn't hit the lock in gear I do occasionaly if Im in mud.

you always need something heavy behind you like a bush hog or a disc to weigh the back end down
