I don't know about the Allen comments. Maybe he's gotten WAAAAAY better since I've seen him last, but Sammy, man. He could lay down some of the most ass-lashing beats out there on a drum kit. He moved the crowd. I like Allen, but Sammy-Bisco is still my favorite.
dude sammys beats are nasty but listen to some of the fills and the complexity of allens beats. sammys beats are just the basic highhat 16th notes. normally. like in the jam for this video. most of its is pretty easy beats. where as allen is just all over the place. hes nuts on the snare and highhat.

yes i agree. the band has soarn to new heights since allen came onboard? this was no more apperent than at camp this past summer. i dont know if you went or not, but the last night second set i-man > i-man > crickets was so fuckin heated, i nearly almost shit myself. i didn;t get to catch any dates for winter tour, but you can bet your last penny i'll be goin to camp again this summer.

I agree that they are better now. I think it just has a lot to do with Jon, Brownie, and Magner being a lot more polished musicians/singers now. Jon in particular imo. Much better guitarist and singer than he was in 2001 imho. Allan def. adds to that though. He is a tremendous drummer.
yeah agreed. allan is a beeeast. and barber has definetly gotten better over the years. but it pisses me off when people are like disco biscuits are trash. theyre not talented whatsoever. im like really? are you serious? no one can jam like the disco biscuits. no one. hands down.
