good song or not good album or not either way one of my favorites to jam along with late at nught with my guitar and amp turned up - its those times im part of APP money talks and so does Ians guitar
Hey sonrise, nice seeing you here. About Money Talks, I definitely disagree with you. Although this song is less progressive than others, it rocks (according to most fans and Alan himself, the worst APP songs are in Eve). Actually, Money Talks it's in the APLP setlist. Anyway the version of the friends here of Nevermore Project (and we're here to talk about this) rocks!!!
Even though it isn't one my favorite Parsons songs; that still makes it better than most other groups songs. I find it interesting that Alan and his fans dislike Eve. I still feel it is one of Alan and Eric"s best works; with classic songs such as You won't be there, Damned if I do, and the beautiful "If only I could change your mind". Keep up the good work, Nevermore
Yes, I get it, Kind of like pulling a White Rabbit out of the Worst of Jefferson Airplane. I guess when Money Talks; people can say It's all Psychobabble to Me. Excelllent; kind of like Projectspeak.
Hi Scott, You still like those clove cigarettes. Remember when you dropped sharon off on the side of the road when she said this song sucked. You tell me this song is better than Damned if I do or If I could change your mind, or the classic " You won't be there ??
Best compliments to Diego for the difficult vocals (performed by John Miles in the original), while Pino's guitar sustains all with a very faithful guitar sound and playing style.
Drummer Manuel and bassist Fulvio reproduce all the difficult contrattempos, Emanuela and keyboardist Massimo complete the arrangement with the backing vocals. A real team work!
Lady and Gentlemen :-)
Now I had enough time to see your videos and I like them all!
Really well done!
It's fantastic that you also play the less popular songs like this one from the "Gaudi"-Album. Did you produce a CD of your studio recordings?
So sad that i probably will never get the chance to see (and hear) you live on stage; Rome is a bit to far away for only one gig...
:-(
Keep on keepin' on!

Did not know the song, I think it's a bit weird and sometimes I think of Deep Purple or Blue Oyster Cult but I certainly enjoyed this.

It just sounds professional: I mean, by concentrating on each single instrument/part it's amazing how it's precisely played!
And, while staying greatly faithful to the original you're able to convey so much energy in it!
Keep up what you're doing, you're on the right way!
Rating it with a thumb-up and adding it to my favourites!

A good performance but the chord at 2:09 is supposed to be a major one, isn't it?
Burqua12 2 years ago
@Burqua12: Thanx for your comment. The original chord is a power chord (fifth ie third removed) and they do like that.
It's nice seeing such an APP song strongly based on power chords, it's nearly metal

This is probably the worst song the project ever did !!! P.S. I did like You're on your own
