@odolany It's actually pronounced as you would in English (Mace). However, if you were to ask a danish person to pronounce it, it wouldn't sound like that, and the commentator was pretty far off in his attempt. :P

in hindsight it was stupid but imho he knew he wasn't gonna win the point lobbing so he tried to counter attack with extremely heavy sidespin hoping primorac would play a backhand and make an error hitting it but he instead stepped around and played a great forehand, it's one of those shots thats considered stupid if it fails but clever if it wins the point.

I'd say no. Maze is from Denmark and here the pronunciation is similar to how you say maze in English, except we put a little more stress on ze. On the other hand, Maze really isn't a Danish name, so you never know what the Maze family members themselves might be saying..
