Women have been reduced to nothing but sex objects, and the fact that many women turn a blind eye, endorse it, support it and even live by it is nothing short of astounding. Although I am only 18 myself, I fear for the future of the black community, I fear for my children, my sister.

Some of ya'll black females go these top colleges and take a couple of socio-political courses and get all educated and then ya'll forget how to just have a good time. Relax and enjoy yourself. Thats why those "powerful black people" at the BET awards didnt complain, they're enjoying themselves. And if they had a problem with the award show they would just leave and ignore it. i dont think bet should of been in the topic of this. you didnt really talk much about what bet did. plus to be fair the bet awards were scheduled before mj's death, meaning it wasnt just intended to be a tribute. it was intended to be a showcase.
