U both carry your wounds with pride. Each of U put some on the other, which is great. IDK about the way some talk about carpet burns. The carpet burns were to ur legs/knees. Ur upper body is marked from his punches and his upper body is marked from ur punches, which is the way it should be. U were both dressed correctly for action. You should try BJJ with a Gi...you've already got the grappling techniques down...BJJ with a Gi can help teach you how to use articles of clothing to your advantage as well!
