So B learns the multi-path/reverb caused impulse response of the A-B channel, truncated to some practical length, flips it temporally and uses it as a matched TX pulse which focuses spatially back at A?
Does this work for continous signals? How much does the in-flight signal passing the RX transducer prior to full refocusing affect other symbols? I guess the "glory" wave first seen is small in amplitude as it is the reverb "tail"...
