@undetectable6221 you can change the "springiness" by stiffening the springs or putting more pre load on the springs. All that does is make the car or whatever you are driving harder to control. The big bore shocks are smoother acting and such. and they are metal unlike the stock ones.
@hondatmx the aluminum shock body wont normally bend, unless you hit something awkward. the shaft will normally bend, however, the shafts have a Titanium Nitride coating. this makes them stronger than stock.
