  • from what album?

  • OMG, I still have a Carpenters album with this on it! Wow, I used to listen to this all the time as a kid in the 70's and haven't heard it in ages!!! Thanks for bringing back so many childhood memories. :)

  • This part brings me back some memories....

    I love this part....:)

  • Our Day Will Come, definitive

  • 3:48 OMG, what was THAT for? Please tell me they're at a Renfaire!! ;)

  • a great memorable musicians to be remembered for an eternal moments of time

  • So Nice !!

  • As for Thousand Eyes, this Richard version is by far better than Bobby V version.

  • OMG Karen can sing anything! She is the best singer to have ever lived and EVER WILL! WOW! she is my musical idol! and I am a guy! I can sing her songs very well, because her voice is low and I am a tenor 2 so her songs are perfect for me!

  • @maleficentdiva What is even more amazing is Karen NEVER wanted to be a singer. She thought of herself as a DRUMMER. What a talent and then to not even care about it. Guess that is why it was so "easy" compared to singers today who try to "sell" themselves as being great. She just "was."

  • I wish Richard would release the songs from the medley without the dj on a future album

  • fantastic!! Thank You!!!

  • love it:)

  • ありがとう

  • Lo maximo me encanta!! su voz es estupenda, lo maximo Karen

  • Waht a great melody!

  • Love the recording with Karen's voice, "One Fine Day!" Great Memories!

  • I agreed :)

  • Boy Karen really sounds terrific in Our Day Will Come with her sweet alto vocals.

  • the DJ was Carp's lead guitar Tony Peluso (of Goodbye to Love fame) who did repeat the schtick on Calling All Occupants. The Mark Rudolph on the line was actually one of their backstage managers.

  • I enjoyed the photo montage. Somewhere I read that Karen said they never laughed harder in the studio than when they recorded one of these DJ sequences....

  • The very positive response to this medley was the inspiration for Karen & Richard to record "Please Mr.Postman" which went to #1! Also, the DJ voice was used on "Calling Occupants" in '77!
