I have a question. Are you saying that the cards you choose are not coincidence, meaning that they were chosen specially? Or does the fact that shuffling cards and then picking them at random make the cards chosen purely coincidence.
Hello SkepticMagican - thank you for taking the time to write! Picking cards randomly has an impact on our psyche - the cards are archetypes and resonate with our deeply unconscious minds triggering a change in the pattern of our thoughts which can and often does stimulate psychic impressions.
@psychickathleen So the cards chosen randomly affect your patterns and thoughts... So is it possible to chose negative cards and therefore have a negative effect on the person, I believe tarot decks have a death card.
There are actually no negative cards - all the cards are neutral. Yes there is a Death card but just as it points to letting go, it also suggests that when we let go we open ourselves to new experiences, opportunities and relationships. That's a good example of a card's neutrality. Sometimes we're happy to see something die in our lives :)
