That Curllin was built by anabolic steroids and declined at the end of his career as the effects were wearing off, He was my favorite horse coming into the Derby - I went to a lot of races up and down the East Coast to see him and was a huge fan. I would hate it if his great performances were due to steroids. Not his fault if it's true. But if it's true, what is wrong with the people who run racing?
