In that little cabin in the beginning, at the part where all the beds are lined up, you know you can grab the bullets first, then get the ammo. Then when the zombie crashes through, just shoot him for as long as you need to to get those guns and get out. It saves time, and ammo. Just thought I might add that :P
This is the first game I played on PS2.,on my first try I couldn't finish the last boss cause of out of ammo. Second playthrough I used knife on all the zombies to conserve ammo except on special enemy/boss XDD.. Knife in this game is so powerful XDD

inmho this game was the hardest out of all the resident evil franchise. i couldn't make it without being bitten once. the boss fights were fairly easy though.
You can actually save your ammo by using the knife to kill all the zombies. The knife was a shitty weapon in the previous games - if you are not a pro of course. But in CV it is pretty effective (to compensate for the scarcity of ammo I guess). Just aim to their legs and they will fall. Then keep slashing them until they die. Make sure there are no zombies approaching from behind you. For the dogs, shoot it once and it will fall down. Then approach to it with your knife and pull its guts out :)
Just started the game today. I'm a huge RE fan and I've never played CV. Its the only one I haven't beat besides RE0 and RE5. Currently half through 5 as well. I need to pick up 0 for the GC though. About time I finished all of them.

No you can't get M100-P ammo that's the other gun as for the 2nd question Yes you can use the same control system from RE2 but the menu navigation isn't exactly like it & the RE2 controls is not the default controls for this 1 I have it for PS2 also in Steve's words "believe me I know"
& If you wanna know where the heck you're going I'd grab the map just saying, you gotta be logical here I do agree with you though that the herbs look like weed especially when you mix multiple green herbs together otherwise when you mix a green red & a blue it looks like crack/cocaine
Actually the herb up the stairs is worth it you got wounded again & I just use the knife on all those zombies if you knife them in the legs its a bit more effective I wouldn't say the knife on here is as good and effective as in RE4 & RE5 however unlike how useless it was against zombies in RE1-3 it does slightly more damage in this game IDK about Outbreak though never played it

The scariest part for me in resident evil code vernoica X was when you enter the poison room with the rusted sword. Then that zombie pops out of that spike box thing. I got really scared. XD

In Resident Evil, it's herbs. In Left 4 Dead, it's pills. I can see how going through a zombie-infested night can make one turn to uplifting substances.

@skaterride2 i agree with you. i am a huge fan of the seires. i liked all the games. and sure resident evil 4 was a little break from the zombies, i will admit i didnt like the idea of resident evil 4 at first. but as i played it there were some elements of the old resident evil series still there. like the typewritter for saving. now that i think of it i dont recall there being one typewritter in resident evil 5. i think they should go back old skool fixed camera, and underpowered characters
here is a hint you are not likely to get from this walktrough: in this game you can shake zombies of by pressing a combination of movement and action keys, i forgot which,haven't played this in a while, sorry about that.

@celestialwolf47 I'm buying that 3DS RE on day one! Just by the trailer, the story and gameplay should be epic! And yeah, I agree with the regular zombies. But knowing Capcom, they're gonna make an entirely new protagonist with some new virus or something.
You forgot handgun bullets in two places; in the place where you start at the beginning of this video, if you approach the dead guy sticking out next to the jeep by where Claire got her handgun, there'll be bullets in him, and the room your in at 1:25, if you go into the bathroom where the third zombie comes from and go to the last shower where the zombie is, he'll have handgun bullets too, but you have to do it before you pick up the bullets by the window.
It's also extremely hard to do in this game. I have it and I have tried to headshot them. You can probably do it, but the zombies have to be too close for comfort, and sometimes that doesn't even work.

you could use any camcorder but i use Cannon Elura 100...anyways you have to buy 3 av spliters and connect them from your system to your camera and then the TV...

@skaterride2 i agree with you. i am a huge fan of the seires. i liked all the games. and sure resident evil 4 was a little break from the zombies, i will admit i didnt like the idea of resident evil 4 at first. but as i played it there were some elements of the old resident evil series still there. like the typewritter for saving. now that i think of it i dont recall there being one typewritter in resident evil 5. i think they should go back old skool fixed camera, and underpowered characters

here is a hint you are not likely to get from this walktrough: in this game you can shake zombies of by pressing a combination of movement and action keys, i forgot which,haven't played this in a while, sorry about that.

@AngelOfMine223 hey dudei meant the rollercoaster gameplay i mean i own it andthe umbrella chronicles i wasnt saying it was a bad remake but i just hate the gameplay i have played every resident evil ever k? includeing resident evil one for the gbc but was ported to the nintendo ds i have 1 2 3 4 5 all the offbrand games and remakes,the posters ,the clothes,remakes,and copies of the guns including the gilded lugers dude i am a huge fan of RE and that will never change! plz reply or subs thx XD

@celestialwolf47 I'm buying that 3DS RE on day one! Just by the trailer, the story and gameplay should be epic! And yeah, I agree with the regular zombies. But knowing Capcom, they're gonna make an entirely new protagonist with some new virus or something.

You forgot handgun bullets in two places; in the place where you start at the beginning of this video, if you approach the dead guy sticking out next to the jeep by where Claire got her handgun, there'll be bullets in him, and the room your in at 1:25, if you go into the bathroom where the third zombie comes from and go to the last shower where the zombie is, he'll have handgun bullets too, but you have to do it before you pick up the bullets by the window.

It's also extremely hard to do in this game. I have it and I have tried to headshot them. You can probably do it, but the zombies have to be too close for comfort, and sometimes that doesn't even work.

you could use any camcorder but i use Cannon Elura 100...anyways you have to buy 3 av spliters and connect them from your system to your camera and then the TV...

oh well i just connect my ps2 to my camera then from my camera to my TV... after that i download it from my camera to my PC use Windows movie maker to edit it... then upload it to youtube

I don't know if it's a good idea but I actually like to haul around the knife. I use it to save a few bullets when you shoot zombies a few times and they fall to the ground.
