i was at the show in eugene oregon the first one at matt arena for 2011 and one of the girl acrobats landed on her neck when she was trying to land on top of the 2 other guys

For people saying they beat animals up,they don't.Imagine how those animals they have in the wilds,They're probably dead already.There's no safe place for them but keep and train them.The trainers feed them,give them shelter,and give them fame.Just imagine how they're life gonna be outside without this show,and imagine how many people gonna lose jobs without them,....I don't know if this is wrong or right but...I have no choice...

Anyone who thinks they dont abuse elephants type in "Barnum Bailey Abuse" in You Tube search and watch the first 2 videos.(If you still defend them then something is wrong with your weak mind)

They use bull hooks to repeatedly gouge and slash the elephants. There was a special on this abuse and apparently Barnum and Bailey are notorius for this abuse. Fuck Barnum and Bailey.

lets not forget that this circus routinely BEATS THEIR ELEPHANTS to make them comply. Its probably not just this circus, but I know Barnumand Bailey mistreat their animals and beat their elephants!.....do you really want your kid to see an elephant who had his will broken by repeated lashings?!

Ringling doesn't abuse their animals. I was reading their site this morning (went to the circus lastnight and really enjoyed it...esp. the ball of steel..thankfully no accidents) and it talked about animal care and such. Not that there aren't circuses that abuse animals because that's probably true, but this particular one does not.

Ringling bros treats their animals so badly that I would never attend any of their shows. Bleh, no need to chain those poor elephants for 23 hours a day! It should be illegal to beat them with bull hooks, as well. Ringling is in the wrong.

The guy at the bottom of the pile broke his foot, but he's healing and making improvement. His bike, on the other hand, is pretty much totaled, I hear. I give kudos to what the courage it takes for these guys to go back in the globe. Good job!

If you look really hard (was using a camera phone so the picture is not the best it could have been) you can see them carry out the guy that was trapped on the bottom of the pile. He had at least leg injury and was not able to walk out on his own.

I work for NS railroad as a conductor and have dealt with these guys many times while in our terminal. If you had half the class these people do you'd really be doing something. It's not the dingy dirty lifestyle some (meaning YOU!!) think it is. So back off a bit and take a moment to think about the amount of planning, construction,etc. that goes on to make this show happen. They're not idiots....rest assured.
