yeah, "audience" so to speak. They actually have two votes: the one they legally have and the one they get through their direct influence on government. The rest of us have to make do with just one vote.
i def agree that the problem is the audience. that was a point i was making in my head, too. tho in my case, i was just thinking of the general public. not everyone has the capacity to think critically or to really use empathy to the fullest. but yes, honesty in politics would be great, if possible.
