  • Judson Phillips, Tea Party Nation head, objects to defense cuts proposed by the Democratic administration which wants to downsize from 11 to 9 carrier task forces. Phillips says we should be building more aircraft carriers to create jobs. The tea-party movement has argued that stimulus doesn't work and can't create jobs or economic activity yet a major teahadist can argue for defense spending on Keynesian grounds. These people are complete morons.

  • Two weeks ago, Fox News told its dittohead viewers that a credit rating downgrade might be a good thing. After the downgrade and market crash where the S&P 500 alone lost $729.3 billion in value with its drop for the day of 6.66 percent, Fox viewers were then told that the GOP downgrade is a tragedy caused by the White House. There’s a good reason Fox viewers are the least informed.

  • According to The Center for Voting and Democracy, 86% of people earning more than $75,000 vote in presidential elections. Only 52% of people with incomes under $15,000 vote. As a result, politicians are three times more responsive to high-income constituents than middle-income constituents and the least responsive to the needs of low-income constituents. Most of us aren't properly represented and should be more involved in the political process because we're getting screwed by the wealthy.

  • 1500 millionaires and billionaires paid no taxes in 2009 according to the IRS.

  • Vote for Sandy Pasch against incumbent Sen. Alberta Darling who was campaigning in Mequon on Saturday and was invited to the nearby supportive Tea Party rally of a "huge" crowd (275 people) in Thiensville but did not attend. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be that the teahadists just held the country hostage over raising the debt ceiling and that she might be subject to some embarrassing questions from reporters? Could it be the embarrassingly low turnout of a dwindling movement?

  • @truthforamerica What kind of insensitive republican moron are you? If her grandchild has to go to the emergency room for lack of alternatives, it comes out of your pocket anyway. Oh, I get it - you're one of these American fascists who would rather "extinguish the weakest". You are the ones to be "extinguished" - by public opinion, and very soon, so prepare yourself for right wing Armageddon.

  • @truthforamerica You sound like a self-centered little prick that doesn't care about anybody but himself. Everything you've said betrays a lack of understanding of current affairs, economics and cause-and-effect. It's a pity that you have the right to vote without a proper education but that's why we have a Republic and not a Democracy. Eventually you morons get weeded out. We are in this economic mess because of your kind of ignorance which is unfortunately all too common in this country.

  • @truthforamerica You called this woman "a grandma moocher bragging to other taxpayers that she is getting free care for her grandson because she can't go pay for it herself" etc. etc. Why not prove YOUR asinine comments. Let's see some sources that aren't from right wing whackos. I have tons of CBO numbers and conclusions at my fingertips to prove you to be an uninformed jerk.

  • @truthforamerica As you say, "the top 10% pay almost half the load". What you failed to say is that the top 10% controls 73% of the wealth. You lie by omission. You facetiously say Obama voters "vote for people who promise to soak 'the evil rich' more" when in fact the wealthiest currently pay record low income tax rates of 35% and enjoy $106,800 earned income caps on their payroll tax. Where are the jobs? Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and others think you're nuts. I think you hate the needy.

  • @truthforamerica Dear Chicken Little - Social programs create jobs and benefit the needy "people like you" seem to hate so much. The only welfare I see is corporate. If the Bush tax cuts are allowed to expire, future deficits will be cut by about half, to sustainable levels. A healthy budget requires a healthy economy and recessions reduce tax revenue at a time when government MUST spur demand and create jobs, even if it temporarily worsens the deficit. This is the worst time to cut spending.

  • @truthforamerica You started by calling this woman "a grandma moocher bragging to other taxpayers that she is getting free care for her grandson because she can't go pay for it herself". Well, duh - you are not the kind of person we really want in a free society where everyone gets an equal break. You sound more like a fascist the more you talk.

  • @truthforamerica Why don't you repeat the "numbers" you're talking about which I haven't proven deceptive? I haven't seen anything from you but right-wing propaganda.

  • @truthforamerica Though Pasch unfortunately lost to Darling, two other Democrats booted republicans from seats in republican districts. Being one member short of a majority, Democrats just need republican Senator Dale Schultz to vote with them against Walker as he did before and it's over for Walker's war on the middle class. As for my being able to read, your sarcasm, cynicism and lack of insight reveal your Galtian cultism. Remember, even Ayn Rand took Social Security and Medicare as will you.

  • @truthforamerica The biggest spending problem we have is the money we spent on the Bush tax cuts. Grow up. You're really a rude person aren't you - the future of America. God forbid.

  • Hubert Humphrey lived through the Great Depression, and understood like FDR how to recover from economic collapse. Medicare is in no way a welfare or give-away program: it is an economic recovery program. To oppose Medicare is a vote for economic depression. The New GOP is anti-economy!

  • Alberta must be a darling of Dr. Evil or Scott Walker. Medicare is as American as apple pie. Medicare is not a "giveaway" program, it is a nearly half-century-old program designed to keep people solvent and working. Working people! This was the constituency of Hubert Humphrey, architect of Medicare. The New GOP are actually anti-capitalist. By killing Medicare, they will hamper the recovery from the biggest recession (2008) since The Great Depression.

  • @CommonSenseJoe Yea! LET THE CHILDREN DIE! IT'S THEIR FAULT THEIR PARENTS AREN'T ABLE TO AFFORD THE OUTRAGEOUS COST OF HEALTHCARE THESE DAYS!

  • Good ad. I'm so glad to see someone saying the things that need to be said.

  • God less your grandson and I wish Sandy success. My daughter has roots in WI on her dad's side. I am running for president in 2016. I won't be elected, may not make it on a ballot, but I will be a channel for people's voices to be heard. I don't know what I'd do without my Medicare or my grandchildren's Medicaid and Peach Care. It's better than nothing, and their mama works hard but has no coverage. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

  • This is a tight recall race by Sandy Pasch (D) against incumbent Alberta Darling (R) in Wisconsin Senate District 8. However, this is not just a Wisconsin fight but a national one. Republicans can't be trusted to govern because they hate government "of, by and for the people". Those of us outside the proud state of Wisconsin are in solidarity with Democrats against republican oppression of working class Americans.

  • awesome ad! hope it changes many minds!
