For example, they claim the Garden of Eden was in Missouri. How would alien abduction lend merit to that belief structure? They aren't scientologists.

He's telling the same story for so many years that it would seem really true. His story is more than Billy Meiers who seemed to add a lot of stuff in his contact that didn't happen. He had stuff happen and seemed to have made up a lot of it also, by reading.
