Is it true that the drives are hot-swapable? Can you change/increase the size without having to reformat the raid? According to the Promise website, you have to buy the drives from their "Approved" list.
Please be careful with the distinction between bytes and bits. Little b is bits while big B is bytes. There is a factor of 8 difference between them. Your entire chart is expressed in mega/giga bits per second but you said mega/giga bytes. Otherwise, great review!
