  • Target's? Anyway, cool video and it was very helpful.

  • i have the same stencils i think they look a ton better on you then they did me. They were a bit too arched for my face i had to turn them clockwise and counter clockwise lol but i think they looked great on you

  • Thank you! I use them sometimes this is really old lol! I can do them myself now yehheeeee!!!

  • i would love to get that i eyebrow...details

  • that looks real and i love it .i seen them in cvs and was not sure how to do it .girl thanxz

  • it really looks good

  • coming from a guy, i think it makes u more attractive :]

  • if u use eyebrow powder instead of liner it wud prolly look more real but urs do look good! ;]

  • a friend recommended stencils to me & after this i'll probably get me a set!

men must be thinking "the things women do." lol

    good job!

  • the eyebrows actually look pretty good :)

  • Thank you!

  • I liked the stencil effect, but I thought you went a little too heavy handed...the first application was fine, before you added more. Its stil looks nice...keep sending out more! Thanks!

  • Thank you! I didn't know for sure how it would look:)

  • i love the eye brow..where did you purchase the stencil?

  • Yeah they seem to work out well.

  • I think the eyebrows look nice. I might try it.

  • Yes you should

  • We like your vidoes.. They are VERY professional. Your very Intelliegient in these, Good job!! We also saw your "Customer Service" Video recently and that was very true!!

  • they look amazing...

  • It took me at least 6 months to grow my eyebrows back. It takes paitence and I had to hide all my tweezers. I am so glad that I did it. I used to completely draw them on. I worried they would rub off.

  • the eyebrows do not look fake, u know how u wuld luk at urself in the mirror n think u dont luk ok.....but wen u ask sum1 else they think u luk great. so 4 me i wuld say the eyebrows look fine to me.

  • What is the name of the stencils you used?

  • If you had used brown eyeshadow or brow powder, the eyebrow would have looked alot more natural. But nice stencils, my eyebrows are more square though.

  • Im so glad that my natural brows have grown back now I dont have to worry about this anymore:) Yehheeee!!!

  • wow ur browsz turned out nyce

  • do u have technique for applying

fondation & concealer on dark spots on

dark brown skin that's flawless looking

    under bright lights in photos.

    new viewer

    shar

  • they may look a "lil" fake due to the color u r using to fill in the brow. u may want to try a dark to medium brown. I use brown down fluid line by mac! they look good dont get me wrong but try the fluid line and see if it look better or not!

  • I fill in my brows too, but I use a brow powder instead of a pencil... It looks more natural.

If you look at my videos, you'll see. My video dated 3/22/08 I am au natural. lol, but my other videos I'm all filled in.

Also, I do mine free hand. The stencils always made me look fake. If you use stencils, use a powder with an eyeshadow brush, not a brow brush... it won't apply the brow powder as heavily as the brow brush does. This technique always looks better on darker skin-toned women.

  • this is an awesome video :) thank you so much.. I liked the eyebrow stencil part, thing is, I have a stencil but it really doesn't work for me. to use them, I have to tweez my real brows a lot, and I'm not much of a tweezing person becasue they naturally look good (just a few here and there that has to be removed).. so yeah, no stenciling for me :) stuck with the au naturale! :p

  • I watched this video JUST to see what color mac foundation you use because I believe I have them same skintone as you(by the looks of it i do)...and I was online getting ready to purchase studio fix fluid...and I dont really know my shade...I was thinking of nc45 but online it looks kinda of dark...I guess I'll have to just do eeny meeny miny mo

  • Yes Im the NC345 but yeah I guess you have to give it a try? it may look to dark but when you start to blend it work for me:) Good Luck girl!:P

  • Hey Gurl, I think that your brows turned out very nice. My barber "arch" mines and they never grew back so I do mines Jhenelle De'Na style with a liner, some alcohol and a q-tip and call it a Day and they look so HOT but so natural. I never can find the soft stencil like you have and the harder plastic stencil always break my liner...Anyways maybe you should try it free style just to see what result you get. And remember...whatever you do freestyle is now a custom design.

    -Jhenelle De'Na

  • Thank you! I do them different now that I almost cut them all off!!! wtf!!! Yeppers Im going free style LOL!

  • i have thin eyebrow's and I got a cut on one when I was little, so when the get arched I have to work around it. I actully like the stencil's on you but on Cam they look okay!

  • Thank you pinkpornstar1 Im trying to grow them out but I think I like them now?LOL

  • i know how it feels afterwards when you color in your eyebrows... looks really fake but really your just use to your lighter look lol. try a brow shader from mac and try to use a light hand when you use eyebrow pencil... i believe enkore had a tutorial on here on eyebrows

  • Yes thank you I got it now OMG and I love it! so depending on the look I use the darker one but for everyday I just use the lighter:) Thank youuuuuu!!! I LOVE ENKORE!

  • Hej!

thanks for all the lovely videos for women pf colour.

I use mac studio tech and mac blotting powder in dark. I would like to ask you what is best to use when applying foundation, brush or sponge? Thanks in advance....

    Liliane from Denmark

  • You know, I started with the sponge but now I use a brush I like the look I get with it, now that I have the right brushes! The brush I was using on the vid was wrong! Now I have the MAC #190 and the MAC #187 and I love them! The brushes that I changed to in the vid I like them too! I keep them in my purse:)

  • great vid, i had the same issue with the same stencils, i was pissed and ended up puttin em back in the drawer lol. must fight the urge to tweeze my own eyebrows lol

  • I know, I think I will use a lighter color and them sometimes I think I like it?

  • hey i just found you yay! i watch makeup vids all the time and i see very few women of color doin vids..and i love how you do your makeup..maybe one day i'll get the guts to do my own vids lol.

  • Yes you should it would be so fun, you should try it you will be great!

  • I like the stenciled brow.

  • Thank you sometimes I do and sometimes I dont? I guess it depends on my mood lol!!

  • i like it too..when i was inschool i had to learn how to do brows with a stencile cuz i was real bad at free hand. iFound thatIf iDidnt make the brow asLong asThe stencilAllows..it dosent look fake. plus i fill in my inner corner very lightly.

  • Great idea:)

  • Hello, do you have any tips for applying foundation makeup on ppl that have acne and mild to moderate acne scars?

  • I used a Scar Fade Cream and Skin Protecting Serum h

and there is always Mac's coverup stick I love that my mom uses the old stuff ambi I think they call it and she thinks it the S#@! lol!!

  • THank you. I am a light-skinned lady with hazel eyes; however, my natural color eyebrows are a soft black. should I lighten my eyebrows to a dark or medium brown? Each time I try to lighten them, it doesn't look as natural as it would when I fill them in wiht the soft black color.

  • I mean using a soft black eyebrow pencil or shadow that is...

  • When I do my eye in a shadow I use Carbon by MAC with Mixing Medium I love it! and when I go light I use Embark!

  • Well go with what's most comfortable for you, I like to match my hair then it also depends on what Im doing, you can always change you brows with a pencil so I keep them natural:) If I'm going for a more dramatic look I go darker or a soft sexy look I like them light:) lol

  • thankyou for the responses. I had one other question. I was also thinking about opting for an brow tint to lighten them. Bc my brows are naturally thick, whenever I fill them to try to lighten the color, it always come out looking like a gorillas eyebrow. LOL

  • If there too thick I think you should think about having them Threaded for Arched first? I think that may help before trying to tint them first:)

  • They maybe you should try a brown that may work it's not so dark and not so light:)

  • you know if you have really dark hair you should lighten your brows to a medium brown color and they will look moreNatural with your hair color..if you have very light hair..brows look more natural being 1-2Shades darker. i do that for my brows and it works well for me.

  • Ok-thankyou for the tips!!

  • Cool! thank you so much for that:) I know they did look too dark to my taste.

  • For a not so dark eyebrow with the stencils I use the lil sponge eyeshadow applicaters that come with some shadows and simply smudge liner on the sponge then use it to blot the color onto my brow

  • That sounds cool I thought the look of the brow was way too dark for my liking? Thank you for this comment.

  • I tryed mac but didnt suit me

so im using mary kay not and its great

  • That's okay what ever makes us beautiful right lol!! they have a good line as well.

  • Do you know the sticky thing you using on your eyebrow? what do u call it?..I wanna buy it and which one is better marry kay or m.a.c?

  • I used then Fran Wilson Instant Brows I got them from a Beauty supply Sally? they were only 2.99! And I use the Mary Kay a long long time ago but right now Im Macing it! Yeah Baby!

  • what color is the mac studio fix?

  • The Mac Tech is NC45, the studio fix is NC45 that I use and the studio fix fluid is use is spf 15 I hope this was helpful any more questions let me know I do request too:)

  • i LIKE IT, ITS CUTE!!HAHA REALLY REALLY LIKE, AND YOUR PLATE IS FIERCE(FOUNDATION)

  • Wow thank you Im so sorry what dose plate mean? Oh the foundation hahahah My bad!

  • lol, meaning your base , plate lol Looks really good, Good Job. Nice to see that african americans CAN wear Cosmetics and still looks as fierce as anyone else. L8ter , Bless

  • I finally found a black person who uses the same MAC color codes as me. I have been searching for someone like you. You do great btw.

  • Hi Ameenah79 your a special to me not only because we use the same codes lol!! But you are also my 300th Subscriber!! And I will be doing a vid about it and I would like to send you a gift!!! The vid with the infor will be up soon Yeeeeehhh!! Thank you for being NUMBER 300!!

  • 1 time for the StudioTech. Love it! I didn't know you could set it with StudioFix. I usually use MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish to set and pray with Fix +...but your way has given me something to think about. Love love love the brows. What brand of stencil is that? I need to get up on that.

  • Thank you sweetie for that comment! I used then Fran Wilson Instant Brows I got them from a Beauty supply Sally? they were only 2.99 Cool!

  • What I like to do, and this might look better than eyliner pencil; take your fluidline in blacktrac after you have lined your eyes and use the rest to fill in your brows. This works great and you get the right amount of color and it's not to dark.

  • Cool I was thinking about getting some I dont have it now? I should huh? thank you:)

  • srry...imma dude......my older sister commented on my account and not her's so this is her speaking

  • ok lmao!!

  • you have a beautiful face.. thank you so much for sharing this

  • I'm loving you today:) Thank you for all your wonderful comments and rating!

  • i liked the brows.... they would be so hott if they were lighter...overall it was a great look

  • Thank you I think so too:)

  • girl, that looks like WAY too much trouble for some brows....LOL....but i honestly didn't think it was too dark for you....i'm JUST now getting used to wearing darker brows, and getting some nice feedback on them....i think these look GREAT, but like i said, too much trouble for my late-risin behind in the morning! ;o)

  • No way in the world will I attempt to do this every morning before work wth! but I think maybe if I was going out? I don't know? Did you peep me using the wrong brush lmao!!!! That's a damn cheek brush hahahhahah sorry ladies:)

  • The eyebrows look great, just a tad lighter.

  • Yeah I think so too:) thank you!

  • what is that big brush you use to apply the powder?which brand? and which prime did you put on?

  • The big brush I don't know I got that so long ago?hummmmm? and the Prime is Lorac aquaPRIME it's an oil free makeup primer.

  • If you would have done both brows I think it would have been easier to see if it looked natural or not, but I kinda liked it. I have myself tried stencils but not these that stick to the skin. It looked so fake on me, but then again I was using a crappy brow shader, now I got the MAC one so maybe I should give the stencil another try.

Ps, you don't have to set the studio tec? I'm looking for a new foundation.

  • Are you? why you don't like the studio tech? To tell you the truth I like it but its almost too perfect I really can't tell the difference when I put it on so I just purchased a bottle of the studio fix fluid what do you think about that? I got it from The Cosmetic Company Store of course lol!! Me and Tasha drove a whopping 2 hours but I got some good deals!

  • I don't have any MAC foundations yet, that's why I asked if you need to set the Studio tech with any powder? =)

I use I.d bare minerals but they make me breakout a lot.

Can you recom. any MAC foundation for a combination/pro acne skin. I get a oily t.zone and when I wash my face it gets tight and dry if I don't put on moisture in like one min.

  • I think setting it makes it look better to me:) Now whether or not you have to I'm not sure? I heard of the Bare Minerals and only good things ummmmm? I can't recommend any because not to sure about it but, that happens to me as well actually so what I did was mix my moisture with my foundation when I use liquid on the back of my hand and in a small container sometimes maybe you should try that:)

  • Where did you buy these at? What other stores sell them?

  • Sometimes you can get them a Walgreens and Sallys beauty and barber supply! Like I said before I think I would like them if I use a lighter pencil:)

  • Hey candy can you use those for arching?

  • Hi girl:) I dont think so or maybe you can just use the other peice that I pulled off and place it on your brow as an outline hummmmmmm?

  • I used these stencil not to fill in but as a guide to let my eyebrows grow back cuz i had not eyebrows and i get compliments all the time

i actually like the way your brow looked using the stencil :)

  • Thank you I think I would like them more if I used a lighter pencil?

  • I agree I like them just a little lighter

  • Hey Candie... Glad your doing more videos again... Um.. Not sure how I feel aboutthe brows... They are really dark.. But maybe that would be okay for a night look! LOVE YA!

  • I know I didnt like them maybe if they could make them slimmer or I could use a lighter pencil? Have you ever seen them in the stores?

  • Yea I have.. Some of them come with poweder that u use to create the look.. Which I think is better because it can be that lighter application that ppl are looking for... Well.. Me... lol...

  • WOW!! Cool!
