Did you have to do anything special to get the jolokias to germinate? Mine have been going 19 days and haven't germinated yet. I have the exact same set up as you. Same cups, same box, same heat mat. I read somewhere that it's good to soak the seeds before planting, which I didnt do. Everything is growing great, I'm worried I got bad seeds.
Well brother I hope all you peppers grow strong and I pray that the world will eventually see your point of view and hope that you will be able to recognize that in a world that is dominated by needless confrontation a simple gardening video can teach us all a little about who we are.
Just as you hope those peppers will do well I have faith that you will eventually open your heart to your brothers and sisters and see that maintaining belief no matter how pointless in your view may be, gives peace and hope too those living in the now during scary and hopeless times.
It is odd to me that as an atheist you go out of your way to mention that you are not "christian" specifically. It seems how this is the world wide web you could say spiritual or religious. Being an intelligent human it seems that you are wishing to generate a response from a specific group of individuals. The question thus becomes why? Is it they fear you felt recording your first educational video? Or is it a deeper seated conflict you need to share with the world? Peace be with you.
@MrChuckybooker Well I live in the United States, where 60% of the population doesn't accept the scientific fact of evolutionary theory based on religious reasons. I want people to know it is ok to not be a christian. Plus it is my video and that means I can do with it whatever I want. Does that answer satisfy you?
@uttbigal How can you call this statement a fact? This statement says absolutely nothing, let alone prove anything. Using your logic, god also had to have a creator. What else have you got?
@ratdavid9 Have you studied logic? The problem with an infinite regression is that it is an impossibility. Therefore you need to have a prime mover to start a series of events. You asked who created God? Nothing created God he is the prime mover, be is the beginning of creation. So.....
since there is creation(everything in existence), there must be a creator that is the prime mover that started it all this is God.
@uttbigal You ask about logic. How do you go from prime mover to interfering white haired bearded Caucasian male christian god? Everything in your statement is a guess, a feeling. Have you actually even read the bible? It's odd you accuse me of not knowing something when you yourself could not possibly know either. I know about science, why don't you give that a try? Enjoy my videos and respond if you wish.
@ratdavid9 Wow, that was a lot of assumptions. Yes I have read the Bible. Have you? Probably not with the description of God you gave me. Just because you don't know something doesn't mean someone else couldn't know it. Your lack of knowledge is probably due to your atheistic faith. What science do you know? and I am responding to your videos.
@uttbigal So you have read the bible and it makes complete sense to you? It sounds like it was literally inspired by god to you? If that's true, more power too you! My description of god was a joke I admit. If I had "a lack of knowledge", I would be more apt to believe in something without evidence. Like you do. Atheism isn't a faith. Atheist simply means I don't believe in god. Nothing more. FYI I am interested in all science and nature. I don't waste time on anything else. See more..
@uttbigal Cont. Your questions. #1 Evidence. Without it there is no way to determine if something is actually true. #2 Evidence suggests yes, with the creation of the universe. It is thought that before the universe, there was no time. #3 I don't know.
@Oggestaden yeah, that's why I decided to step up the fertilizing. I guess the real point is that you have to look at your plants regularly. They can communicate problems if you know what to look for.
here in philippines, chili grows well in summer and becomes really expensive in the market when rainy season comes. if chili roots gets too much water they just withered. same goes to tomatoes.
One thing about germinating the superhots: It takes patience. I planted 30 Naga Morich seeds to have 5 plants come up. And the last one took about 30 days to germinate. Very well done videos, by the way. They are clear and easy to follow. I personally stopped potting the seedlings in small containers and transplanting them. I am just too lazy and that was too much work. I plant the seedlings directly into 8" pots, but it's all good. Make more videos-I've subbed so I will watch them-Thx!
@SAK59 I've had good success growing the superhots that I have tried. The germination mat is absolutely essential.Do you use one? I sowed seeds of Bhut Jolokia in 2 cups but only one cup sprouted and I think the reason why is I let the other get too dry between the initial waterings. I've got 3 Bhut's that I was able to separate from the one cup. I pot the seeds in small pots because of limited space. I've found that the large plastic cups are enough to get me to mid-May.Thanks for the comments:)

Random Fact:
The problem of infinite regression proves there is a God... There has to be a prime mover.

A few questions:
How do you know if something is true?
Did time have a starting point?
Can you prove that logic is logical?
