This girl was in pain. I've never heard anyone express sorrow, hurt and longing in a song like this. Only Janis Joplin was close and even she couldn't summon this kind of searing emotion. I don't know what combination of things manifested this inside her, but they were real.....You can't fake something this heartfelt and honest. It is truly from the soul.
