No laws yet against video while driving. So, do it alot! If you run thru Indiana, lake Monroe and Turkey run are my fav spots to visit. Otherwise just crankup the tunes and keep drivin.

Yay! Look forward to seeing you again. Neat I'll have met ya on BOTH sides of the country now... hehe, first NY, now LA.. Anyways.. Have fun for it being your 1st major road trip.. I40 is good, but if you can swing it hop off on to historic route 66 every so often that runs along side of it. Much more fun drive when I40 gets boring. Which it does right around umm T.E.X.A.S. ;p)

Sounds like a fun trip. Come to Amarillo, Texas. We have a monument to helium. (I'm not kidding.) See the Big Texan. (You're a healthy eater so you probably will not want to eat there.) And make sure you see the Cadillac Ranch.

It took me 3 days driving 12 hours per day from Connecticut to San Diego. If you're going to push it like this I suggest you stop every 4 hours, or so, for a break.
