  • freaking hippies

  • st alban's high school i went there on a inset day i had and it was awesome coz of my m8 beting me £5 i would not turn up so yeah that was in september

  • his definition of freerunning and pakour are wrong! parkour is obstacle negotiation to reach a defined destination as efficiently as possible. free running is obstacle negotiation for the sake of obstacle negotiation with no intended ultimate destination and with no kinetic efficiency necessary. Thats why you can incorporate acrobatics in FR and not PK due to the inefficient nature of these movements. that is to say, that free running doesn't necessarily require tricking, it just allows for it.

  • Now we all know...

  • much obliged...

  • When do you go into Cwmbran? like what days and times cuz i would mind practicing with you guys and getting some tips and all.

  • FLIPS ARE NOT PARKOUR!

    LMAO

  • No flips is not in the sport parkour, but if there came an obstical that it would be easier to do a flip over, its kinda like parkour

  • lol the guy who opens the beer with his teeth at 2:00 sort of looks like David Belle.

  • Really Good Video. Gives Alot Of People An Insight Into Parkour. Also, good jam with Bam

  • OMG you took the spring boards and stepping stones bit from jump britain right?

    XD Nice!

  • It's obviously that this is not parkour, not cause they do flips, apart, it says "competition" people who do "parkour" and compete vs others aren't doing parkour.

Some words of this comment camed out of the mouth of David Belle, just incase for those stupid gay guys that post comments on David Belle videos like "look mamy a monkey!" David Belle is the founder of parkour.

  • i honestly didnt understand that comment.. not for the content, but the way it was wrote.

    but yes we do flips?no we didnt say anything about competitions.... and at the end of the day;

parkour is all about understanding your body, and furthering your limits through the environment and making meaning with those actions.Flips also do that, even if they stray from the more efficent means of parkour, they still bring a great training and understnding of the body and mind, with fear and technique.

  • Haha that guy is a dick, whoever thinks that parkour was all david belle needs to do his homework before criticising others.

    Peace

    Con - USK

  • @dgcrew if you read the description it says it's a "documentary" competition

  • hey erm where you lot visiting Uk or live there? Cause i live in a small tropical island with no other traceurs and whould like to meet up with a few in north london sometime as i go on holidays there alot.

  • Dont really live close to London... we are in a place called Wales about 2-3 hours away?

    tropic islands :D aweomse man

  • I'm sooo jealous of the spots you have in the UK :|

  • haha thats just london.... check out my Sampler for a nice mix of places :D im jealous of some foreign ones !

  • dude i really want to go to the UK i dislike the US culture, and i heard that food there is good

  • hey how long did it take you to learn how to free run/ parkour

  • I've been freerunning and practicing parkour for two years, and I'm still not as good as Fluidity. I'd give it a year to get pretty good, and then go from there.

  • are you part of fluidity, I want to start to learn to free run I can a little bit but not much I dont no how to start it really. I would rather use a gym but I dont no of any that would teach parkour of free running

  • Nah, i'm not part of Fluidity (I wish, haha), I'm a member of Hardkore Parkour, based in Roanake, Richmond, Blacksburg, and Charlottesville, all in Virginia.

What can you do? Can you do a proper roll?

  • hey do u know where i can sighn up for free running/city jumping if you do can you let me knoe?

  • you dont really "sign up"... just look on the net, find out more about what it is and you can start training from there man! get some friends and go from there!

  • Thanks a ton Tom :) things are actually going really well for us.... BBC filming soon and all this gym club stuff and grants of money and all :D but thanks :D

if you ever wanna do more pics haha ;)

  • I wish people would stop knocking these guys they train really hard. And Pk is and art for and art after all is a means of PERSONAL liberty your way is not my way nore mine your.

well done guys, cant wait for the next overnight gym session.

  • Really quite a poor peice :(

  • this is not good! the bit at the beggining wen u say parkour is the more basic with the vaults etc... but sorry, parkour is anything but basic. and all the things u do and u didnt know about being silent, it is a key element for traceurs and free runners alike. *gosh*

  • for a start, if you knew anything about filming... youd know there has to be some plot :P we had to make it look like Bam was teaching us something... *gosh* and the bit daf said... he was just trying to explain how pk was different to freerunning, as freerunnings meant to be more aestetically pleasing and performance based.

  • whether thats wat u meant or not, it didnt come across like this at all! u sound like noobs!

  • we all agree on that :P haha. besides, we actually had better re takes of that, cept the guy who helped edit parts used that one.

    so meh.

  • I agree. Misrepresenting our arts.

  • didn't realise - i'm in background on this - funny

  • Awesome vid guys keep it up!

  • hahahaha baconman!!!

  • It's worrying seeing all the things you were doing, but didn't know about how to land and that you should be aiming for silence.

Parkour is the discipline. Please don't get the two methods of movement confused.

  • im aware that parkour is the discipline. im not confusing them. i dont think anyone actually says it is any different in this film? if they are im sorry and all i can say was - it wasnt me.

and landing wise.. im aware some things are bad. but hey , its not my ankles, my landings are quite nice.

  • haha that was a sweet video good work marwane wtf man

  • not bad, though your parkour stills wasn't very good...but neither is bams lol.

  • skillls or stills? lol...

  • Sorry skills.

  • meh true. video wasnt a brill show of it. check out our newer vid .. against the flow its called. maybe thats a better show of what we can do. even so... couldnt findn any pk vids on yours
