My conscience is clear now that I can stay in "tune" with the direction of the Gov. Body and be an honest example to others by reading their articles online. I used to go out in service as encouraged by Jehovah's Witnesses when I trusted the guidance of the "elders" in the congregations. I would still be doing so if I knew that ones with the right heart conditions would be "spiritually sheltered" by members of the Gov. Body itself but until that is possible I will not invite ones to come to meetings where I know they could possibly be hurt by those who misrepresent the truth in their local congregations.
So many people have been stumbled because they allowed themselves to believe that the admonition made by "brothers" were in alignment with what the Gov. Body of JW's would say and I want to assure all of you that many, many times it is not! Whatever a so called "brother or sister" in your cong. tells you, please check it out with the Gov. Body literature after, regardless of that person's "appearance of spirituality in the congregation.
Trust me, when I say I know what I'm talking about because I though I grew up as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I now do not so readily just arbitrarily accept what is said at the meetings just because a "brother" giving a talk says it so. I double check everything as compared with what the Gov. body would say it and how they would say it. This is not easy to do and is much easier to just accept blindly what may be said at the meetings. But therein lies my advice to be cautious.
The "finger tips" can never be the palm but need the "spiritual sustanance" running through the palm from the "heart of God" with the "life blood" of His holy spirit. The misunderstanding and hurt people feel, is when they see the JW congregations thoughout the world as being the palm. THEY ARE NOT!! These cong. often get "dirt" under their fingernails because they are at the grass roots level of the world. It is MUCH more more difficult to remain clean at this level
Where the whole misunderstanding comes is from the analogy I will explain to all of you as I at least have come to discern it. The Gov. Body of Jw's are like the palm of your hand. Press on it and you will feel the pulse of life. Though imperfect the Gov. Body has to stay clean or become seriously infected. My conscience is clear now that I can stay in "tune" with the direction of the Gov. Body and be an honest example to others by reading their articles online. I also read many translations of different Bibles to make sure what I'm understanding is correct. I refuse to represent myself as someone that wants to help others by leading them to something that could mislead or hurt them. My friends be like the Boreans in Acts 17:11 and make sure of everything you are told, no matter who says it to you.

I used to go out in service as encouraged by Jehovah's Witnesses when I trusted the guidance of the "elders" in the congregations. I would still be doing so if I knew that ones with the right heart conditions would be "spiritually sheltered" by members of the Gov. Body itself but until that is possible I will not invite ones to come to meetings where I know they could possibly be hurt by those who misrepresent the truth in their local congregations.

Trust me, when I say I know what I'm talking about because I though I grew up as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I now do not so readily just arbitrarily accept what is said at the meetings just because a "brother" giving a talk says it so. I double check everything as compared with what the Gov. body would say it and how they would say it. This is not easy to do and is much easier to just accept blindly what may be said at the meetings. But therein lies my advice to be cautious.
