  • so is this better than the flip video?

  • lol, I can assmue that he is reading a script....

  • I have to say that this isn´t a REAL HD camera.

Read carefully the specification: 3 ccd with each 500.000 pixels (3x 0.56 Megapixel CCD (1/6"). That´s not true HD.

So the quality can never be the same as an single ccd (e.g. Samsung VP HMX, Sony..) with over 1500.000 pixels or higher.

take this in mind if ye bought your camera.

  • so what would be better than this??

  • @remcap thanks for sorting that out for me

  • can it take singular picture like a photo camara? is it better then sd9?

  • I have a question I have an old panasonic camera pv-l559 what do I need to buy to add my videos to my computer ? I cant find the hole

  • Im getting this! its already in the mail =D Cant Wait!!!

  • how much does it cost? and if you have it already... can you use USB to get the film onto your PC?

  • It does only 25 FPS! on 1920 x 1080 resolution!

And Interleaced! Thease are the best settings. it can do. So moving objects and camera pan doesn't look smooth! Camera native AVCHD format still uncommon in video players and editors. Included HD Writer for windows plain sucks! Leaves impression of a cheap and dirty hack. It allows exporting that cool 1920 x 1080 AVCHD video at best settings into 720x576 MPG. I think class action suit is appropriate for misadvertisement.

  • yes u can!

  • sorry for double posting. i thought i did not send my first and second comments.

  • can i use 16GB in my hdc-sd5 camcorder?

  • can i use 16GB sd card for my hdc-sd5?

  • can i use 16GB sd card for hdc-sd5?

  • You need a blue ray DVD reader to see full hi def and a blue ray burner with software.

  • ive got one question... im new in this HD cams... for example... if i use a 4Gigs SD card... and i record 40Min... ( thats 4Gigs total )... then i Copy/Paste on my pc... Then i Burn a DVD with that file... am i able to watch my 1920x1080 40min film on a DVD reader on my tv??? or is it more complicate than that? tnx for the answer! ill apreciate if u answer on private!

  • if you put the file on the dvd it will change to file into standard def because dvds are not high definition. You can either buy a blu-ray burner or just plug a hdmi port from the camcorder to your hdtv to watch in hd. And with the sd card there is no loss of quality with multiple playbacks.
