Getting tattooed DOES suck! But it's like a right of passage because you go through SUCH excruciating pain but when it's all over... You have something (hopefully) PHENOMENAL!!!!! And then months later.... You're back for more! lol

Goodness, watching this because I'm planning a back tattoo soon, and after hearing you talk about the pain, I'm terrified!

I've got one directly over the collarbone though, that was crazy pain but I was 15 when I got it and still kind of new to tattoos. I didn't really freak out, just wanted to throw up.

Your mermaid is so beautiful though, the pain was very much worth it Cherry! If I'm ever travelling that way I'll definitely check Eno out!

I have been tatted twice, one that completely covers my foot (took 2 hours cause of detail etc) and then I have one on my ribs (took 15 minutes thank God lol)

I was looking at their website and from your review also I think that the Daily Moisturizer and Healing Cream would be products I would like to use I use the same things you use for your aftercare and I find the same issues arise auqafor is a bit to greasy and lotion isn't coating enough until after it has healed most of the way. I remeber getting my cherry blossoms on both sides of my hips and this took me back that that 3rd hour of the sessions where I just wanted to scream and punch people in the face that were simply sitting around breathing LOL! Great work I am from San Diego, currently living in NYC. My first tattoo was done by Patty Kelly from Avalon Tattoo in San Diego. One of the first known women tattoo artist out there. Love the work, and saw some cover up. the next time I visit family I'll check out your friends shop. Have my sleeves, and my lower back done. Ribs is scary, but had my elbows done, so geez I know the pain. Cheers on helping us tattooed girls look good! : )

I got tattooed two days ago on my lower hip, though i just got a writing which like took a half hour i didn't think it hurt so bad.

Only when it hit the bone, otherwise it wasn't so bad as i imagined really.

@Craziflys Yeah, I didn't think my hip was bad. And a half hour is a pretty short session. For me it is working on large areas for hours at a time that is painful and exhausting.

No less than a week ago I decided to get my FIRST tattoo the day after my 18th birthday.

And being the girl I am, I got a Japanese Cherry Blossom Tree done on my entire side starting from 2 inches below my waist all the way up to about an inch below the small of my neck. And still being in high school my mom freaked out when she found out.

I do not regret getting this tattoo and I give you major kudos for getting your back done(:

If they suck so bad why do you bother covering yourself with them? I have had a few tattoos that I breezed through and a few that really hurt (this being one). I thought I would make a video of the reality of getting tattooed and be honest about it. It may not be for everyone... but at least I am honest about how it feels. And I get tattooed because I think they are beautiful. There are many beautiful things in life worth suffering for.
