  • @motosnape I have heard that the UK and possibly other nations within the EU made it legal to drive fast in motorcycles. Not in the US. There is one state with a low speed limit Hawaii. 60mph (95kph). All other 49 states and Hawaii all other states have speed limit posted for all street legal vehicles 65mph (104kph) 70mph (114kph) and 75mph (120kph).

  • I'm American....what's a bloody squid? Sounds like this guy is definitely one...whatever it is. Only comment is I would have liked to see the road flying by at 181mph instead of staring at the speedometer. Maybe point the camera up a little, to get the road AND the speedometer in the frame. Boring vid.

  • @Mrsazook squid is like noob or tool in america

  • BLOW IT UP SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got a nice letter from the swiss police confirming that 161mph is possible on a C1h with a bag on the pillion and without the rider tucked in - the throttle wasnt completely pinned either, I was just going quick rather than trying to get a top speed

....PCIII fitted and a can, otherwise more or less standard as far as power goes

  • the speed is not accurate on a speedo a stock 600cc bike can run 260+km and it is equal to 162mph..

  • I love how people like put you down about it,... Who gives a fuck if it's off or not... The guy who owns the bike I'm sure knew that when he did it... Actin like he's a dumbass and shit... U bunch of jitterbug mofos...

  • i have a 2003 636 i reach a top speed of 167 max there is noooo more

  • @odannyboy26

    u need more mods

  • honestly im 145 pounds, the fastest ive ever gone was 176 mph, at 630 am dead calm. my bike is a 03 zx636 with a fmf, chip and filter. STOCK SPROCKETS. guys talkin that the speedo is off by 20 mph LOL haha from the factory....okay fuckin tool. im sorry thats not right. when you change a tooth size by one on the sprockets it changes the speed its sad i have to state this but ppl dont know what they are talkin about.

  • @UthinkUknowlol3715

I've seen an indicated 167mph on my totally standard 05 ZX636 and I'm not light. I don't know about the US, but in the UK, because of European legislation, all vehicles produced for the European market must over-read by approximately 10%, so that makes 167mph more like 150mph.

The only exceptions to these laws are police spec vehicles and commercial vehicles, because they're fitted with a recording device called a tachograph. It would be interesting to know if US is the same

  • what yr is ur bike

  • 09 r6 against the 636 ya rite 636 wud spank it. ill put my 09 monster energy edition zx6r against ur r6 any day

  • you will get at least 165 out of a stock 636 i have one and cant see it doing 180 what counts is the grin factor i get when riding mine, in the uk anything over 70 mph is naughty isnt it officer . :-)

  • If you dont mind me asking, how much is insurance on this bike?

  • I have this bike, and am told on most vehicles that the speedometres are generally 10% off.

  • i went 163mph on mine today, swapped it for my busa... :)

I'll probs be able to do 170mph-175mph but in real speed i bet thats not even 160...

  • My 2009 R6 will tear that 636 up!!!

  • @jbbonzo72 you tell him cuz mine will too:)

  • @jbbonzo72 it might now but dont forget your talking 2009 tech against 2006 tech i have a 2006 ninja636 and its great to ride have a go on one and let me know what you think of it mate you may be suprised are you in the uk

  • remember you novices..... it's an indicated 181, and going those speeds its gonna be almost 20 mph off of actual speed.

  • THIS BIKE IS 100% GEARED DOWN. 5th gear rpm's & mph make it obvious. It's at least -1 up front or + 3 out back. My 05 636 is -1 up front and it pulls indicated 180+mph all day with no speedo healer. Around 160mph or less actual. If u have -1/+2 gearing ur top speed will hit indicated 180+ but actual will be at 140-145 mph if ur lucky. I will say it is nice to see "180mph" on the speedo of a 600cc but we all know it's no where near actual speed. I take mine up to 180 every chance i get....lol

  • @jaybird2331 you are spot on.. My 04 zx6rr is geared -1 +2, I had it to 176mph on the speedo, but my gps read 141.. The bike is geared down with no speedo healer end of story

  • Have a 04 636 always hear my speedo is wrong but I gotz a nice fine and suspended lis. For 167 and she wasn't done. No I didn't admit to speeding the cops waiting for me told me how fast I was going !

  • Ive had 168 out of mine indidcated on the clock and it still was still pulling until i backed off .

so bragging rights down the pub are mine . Unless anyone has a speed gun to say otherwise the dude was doing 181mph.

MCN clocked one on test at Bruntingthorpe proving ground in the uk and got 172mph speed trap !!!

  • Great view of the tach...

  • 2 things, FIrst, your speedometer is reading fast, you where not doing 181 MPH your lucky to pass 130mph actual speed on the street because of wind resistance and you cant tuck enough because you have to see where your going.(although the bike is capable of 165mph). and secondly a ZX10 wont beat a FI ZX6R.. a ZX10R will but not a ZX10. Speedometers on these bikes lie people.

  • @w33b3l 130 MPH? You're dumb as fuck if you think the Speedo is that off. It's in the 170s, a stock 636.

  • @w33b3l bet you have a scooter!

  • @zxmig Actually... I have 2 bikes, and one is a ZX6R. What do you think I posted that without actually knowing from experience? A stock ZX6R of that year wont go over 165 in perfect conditions, thats just a fact. Even at 165 the speedo would say 170 something. Either the pike is re geared or the speedo is off more then normal. Most people cant get them much over 150 actual on the street for reasons I've already said. I have a bike like that.. and know better to believe this.

  • @w33b3l Speedo's on later kawasaki's are 10% out in top gear running standard gearing. That works out to roughly 163mph in the real world. your comment on wind resistance and not being able to tuck in enough made me laugh. Unless your a complete fatty (perhaps you are, who knows??) then you can tuck in to the fairing and still see where you are going. At a recent airfield top speed event in England my stock 636 indicated 179mph on the speedo and was officially rated at 160.4mph with a 5mph hwind

  • clear your on-board FI bank before you sell! :)

  • ill wanna race that wit my lil ol zx10

  • @b2rue7272 a zx10 would whip it lol

  • @b2rue7272 your an idiot

  • that bike was geared, most likely 1 down 2 up, with no speedo healer

  • 181 KMH maybe...:)):-j

  • Thats fast as shit. My bike governs at 186 but that is fast enough. Check out some of my vids, comment and sub...

  • oh i love when people wit 600 think they can go 200mph ... lol just great

  • I can honestly say that I have got my 2005 zx6r 636 up to 181mph. I do hear the speedos are off at that high speed, but one thing is for sure, I beat a 2006 r6 and a 2009 gsxr 600 in the top speed. Positive. Both my buddies can vouch for that and the are crazier than me on them bikes. The bike is stock except for the jumper mod that I did to unlock a diff mapping for the ecu. Other than that, I love my bike. Never let me down.

  • I myself have been called a liar. I stand by your side my brother. I have a 2007 ZX6R STOCK!!!! and have taken it to 180 and could still feel it pulling when I ran out of road and had to shut her down. So screw you JoeRUGBUTT! Grow some balls and twist that throttle! How else ya gonna know!

  • What year 636?

  • nice, mine wont get up that high, which i got the -1 +2 sproket set up on mine though

  • I did 171mph on my 06 stock zx6r.

  • Wow.... 180.

    Impressive.

  • My 05 636, which was bone stock, read 170 before I backed off it. These bikes haul-ass off the showroom floor. Back in the 70s on a 70 challenger with the 440 6pack the specs were 390hp in reality these bitches had plenty more but recorded those smaller specs for insurance. Maybe the same for the 636s 165 top speed?

  • the speedo actually reads off the crank. i dropped a tooth on my front sprocket and it changed my speedo by 10 mph after i got up to about 60. i had an 05 zx6-rr but before i dropped the tooth it would read 181 maxed out.

  • You were probably doin a real 160mph~. But that is the best a stock 636 could do. Good vid...

  • all you kawi' haters. I am sure thats legit considerin my brother has an old 95 zx6r and that will do 165 on the speedo. i love it cuase the hondas won't evan do 170

  • its not legit at all, look up the top speeds on any modle zx6 none of em will do over 165 ish, and your brothers 165 on the speedo was closer to 145-150 actual speed.

  • where u floring it????????????????????

  • is this on a dyno or on the road??

  • its on a road, the speedo cable runs off the front wheel. and on dynos there locked in place

  • This speedo is off a 2003-2004 kawasaki zx6r (636cc) B1h model or later, theres no speedo cable, especially off the front wheel, that would be suicidal at those speeds if there was a jam or malfunction of some kind, its all electronic and the speedo sensor is located on the casing for the drive sprocket, right next to your left ankle on this bike! FYI

  • probably doin a buck fiddy..+-20%

  • avec une dent de moin au pignon de sorti de boite !

  • moi d'origine 296 kmh au compteur. et compteur bloqué a 290 sur 636 2002

  • Soffre troppo....

  • was that a legit 181 on a stock 636?? im confused..

  • yes it was, you can work out that the gearing is standard by the revs it is pulling and the speed it is doing when the rev limiter cuts in.

but i do believe the speedo's are slightly out on these.

  • You didn't have freeway sprockets on? 181 seems pretty fucking fast for a non-litre bike.

  • @www16vzeteccom The speedos on later kawasaki's are generally regarded to be 10% out in top gear running standard gearing. So 163 miles per hour is about right.

  • @www16vzeteccom yeah 181mph-10% speedo error. Congrads, you just hit 162mph.

  • @13tomabram congrats for knowing before commenting... a STOCK 636 gearing is capable of 176.9 MPH at 15000 RPMs i know this cause i own one

  • @ltspike12345 congrads for commenting BEFORE knowing. Or fucking reading for that matter. Dont give a shit what you own. 176 indicated means dick, totally dick. You NEVER hit 176 on gps or radar. SO congrads you just hit a true 158mph.

  • @13tomabram you can do some basic math right?here's some numbers for the STOCK 636. Rev the engine to 15,000RPM. The primary drive ratio is a 1.8913:1 a 6th gear of 30/26 (which is a 1.154 so not even over drive) with a 180/55/17 rear tire (around 77.9 inch circumference) and a factory final drive of 43/15 (2.86 repeating 6). at 15000 RPM 180/55/17 tire you will turn around 177 MPH. If your REALLY want me to I can do the math for you and show you. Inform yourself before you presume to know more.

  • @ltspike12345 I dont give a shit about your math and how fast the tire "should" turn. Ever hear off horsepower? The bike is horsepower limited and DOES NOT have enough power to push the bike past the mid 160's at best. 177? My fucking ass. Gixxer 750's are only running very low 170's on radar and gps. And they have a hell of alot more power than the 636. So next time talk facts, not your imaginary math bullshit.

  • @ltspike12345 gearing dont mean dick. So put a much smaller rear sprocket and go 2 up in the front. You bike now has 190mph gearing. Can it go that fast? Never in a million years.

  • @13tomabram except this video CLEARLY shows a 636 making it to the 15000 redline in 6th gear.... so if 6th at 15000 rpm is 177 mph.... and this video shows a stock 636 making it to the 6th gear redline.... can you please enlighten me why you say that it can't do it?

  • @ltspike12345 first off it can be at 20,000rpm. IT DOSENT MEAN SHIT!! And he can have it geared anyway. But the bike dosent have enough power to push through the drag of air. You would need about 135-140hp to hit 177mph. Does that bike make that much? Not even close. Makes about 113hp stock.

  • @13tomabram yeah it's 114 at the wheel, 130 on engine. obviously you know more than ANYONE else about this motorcycle... ill let you continue in your delirium about it now, have fun

  • @ltspike12345 obviously I know more about it than you. Only a moron would think a 636 can hit 181mph because of the gearing. Hey, If I gear a bicycle like the 636 can it also do 181? LOL

  • @13tomabram I own an 06 zx6r (636) and with just a few upgrades(exhaust, intake, little things) I can hit 181 but if you look, the speedos on these bikes are quite off from the factory, I show 181 but a friend with me shows only around 155-160

  • @wiggity08 nope, no way. You could hit 181 with minor mods. WONT happen. You prob need another 30-40hp to get to that speed. Minor mods wont get you there.

  • @13tomabram Ummmm yea if you'd read my whole comment, I said my speedo hit 181, buut if you research the bike then you'd find out that the speedo on that model is off from the factory and I said that it would show 181 but in REALITY would only hit 160-ish... stock is about 115 at the wheel, 130-ish at the engine, with minor mods maybe 125 at the wheel... still maybe pushin 160-ish maybe a little quicker, thanks for commenting though....

  • @wiggity08 well you said you can hit 181 with some mods. I dont care what the speedo says.

  • @13tomabram Need to change the gearing to get that speed. It will take forever to get there though but it would eventually..

  • @SDkawi6 Gearing wont get your to 181. Wont happen. The bike needs ALOT of extra HP. It simply dosent have enough HP to get there. Not even close. That indicated 181 on the speedo is about 166-167 ACTUAL speed. Speedos are off.

  • @13tomabram I meant stretch the gearing.. I dropped 1 on the front and it only accelerates to about 162 vs 165.. If they stretch the gears +1 or 2 up front they will be able to reach higher top end speeds. It will take a long ass time though..

  • @SDkawi6 I know exactly what you mean. But ur not understanding what I am saying. You dropped one in the front? So now ur speedo is even more off. That 162 indicated is more like 140mph. The bike does NOT have enough HP to make it get to 180 REGARDLESS of the gearing. The bike would need about 40 HP over stock to get it to the 180 mph range. You wont get close to that with minor mods.

  • @13tomabram GPS stated my top speed was 162. my speedo said 184.. I still get to 70mph in first.. I will go faster than 140..lol.. And I gained about 20hp to the real wheel after two bro racing exhaust, k&N, -1 up front and without a mapping system. Dyno was 119.4hp at the rear. Stock is about 97-100rwhp. Those are minor. I know it wont get to 180 but you can get a 600 into 170s that for sure..

  • @SDkawi6 when did I ever say it will only go 140? Read my post again. You gained 20 RWHP from exhaust? LMFAO!!! Never. Keep dreaming.

  • @13tomabram Dude what is you're problem? Yes I did. -1 up front, full pipe, and intake race filter added about 17 to the rear wheel. Without a mapping.. All i need is a power commander and it will exceed 120. Youtube 07 zx6r dyno runs. They all have the similar mods to me and each get somewhere between 10-20hp increase from those 4 mods. Seriously check the vids everyone will gain significant power from those. And you do know what -1 up front means and what it does right, just to be clear.

  • @SDkawi6 First off gearing dosent do anything for HP. Zero. Race filter MAYBE gives you 1 hp. You are LUCKY to get 10HP from a full exhaust WITH it mapped out on a 600. And I STRESS lucky. 17 RWHP from an exhaust? Never in a million years. Show me before and after dyno charts. And yes I know exactly what -1 does. Dosent do dick for HP increase.

  • @13tomabram check all 07zx6r dynos. every single one you find that isnt stock will be 110-120rhwp. Stock is 98-104rwhp. BTW do you even own a bike? all I see is car stuff..

  • @SDkawi6 Again, stop believing what you read from OTHER guys bikes. Did you have the bike dynoed BEFORE and after the exhaust put on? Obviously not. All dynos read different. Most read high. There is NO way ur bike would of read 98rwhp on that dyno. Prob was about 110-112hp on that dyno before the exhaust.

BTW I do have a bike.

  • @13tomabram I'm not going by what other bikes say. I'm saying look at their videos because I do not have any dyno videos of my own. the 2007 zx6r has the weakest hp out of all 599cc bikes of the past 10 years especially ninja considering they do not use the 636 engine anymore. I did dyno my zx6 and it was 98.5rwhp when I bought it. In july it ran at 119.4whp. And I told you it was not just exhaust, -1 up top made a large difference. You know what that means right? What bike and have u tuned it?

  • @SDkawi6 LMFAO!!! -1 makes a large difference. Yeah, like ZERO!!! Changing the gearing does NOTHING to HP #'s. Sorry but you should do research or ask someone if you didnt know that. Send me the dyno sheets of before and after the exhaust mod, (thats the only mod you have). And I want to see if it was done on the SAME exact dyno. No way in hell can you get a about 24 more crank HP from an exhaust on a 600. You couldnt even get that on a big bore bike.

  • @13tomabram lol if you say so.. I did it.. plain and simple..i dont need to do research because I own the bike... You dont know anything about me or my bike so it is what it is.. Think what you want. -1 gains low in torque.. I can give you an example of what -1 does for a bike but I dont think you would care anyway. One thing is for sure is that a c6 z06 is faster than a 600cc including the 636. Check out 636 vs c6 z06. Its mod is a slip on and -1. It was on a 50 roll. Dont believe it oh well

  • @SDkawi6 HAHAHA -1 does NOTHING, yes, NOTHING to HP OR torque #'s. I know EXACTLY what -1 does. I have been running -1 on bikes when you were still in 1st grade. Explain to me how a gearing change will make ur motor produce more torque. Gearing has ZERO, nadda, to do with engine output. Again, NO EXHAUST mod will give you a 20% increase in HP.

  • @SDkawi6 As as far as a z06 smoking a 636, its believable. The 636 has shit for midrange power. Torque is a joke. Its dead and is slow as shit. Thats why I only buy powerful bikes with alot of torque.

  • @13tomabram Yeah but the point of the video the 636 won by pretty good margin with minor mods exhaust and -1 up front. But it is what it is.. If you dont believe me about my bike it doesnt matter. The world will keep spinning.. :)

  • @SDkawi6 well putting a car up against a bike and winning is NO accomplishment. The car was very close. Shows how fast the car is. I wouldnt brag about a bike beating a car. And in that vid, it wasent by that much at all.

  • @13tomabram I was saying a z06 is faster than a 636 or any 600cc for that matter on a roll. But the gearing made the bike quicker than most 600s. That's all..

  • @SDkawi6 Not really true. Gearing it wont make it that much quicker. For sure it wouldnt make you gain the 6-8 bike lengths on a car that the vid showed.

  • @13tomabram it does.. I raced an 07 gixxer 600 and his was stock. I have about 2500 in mods and i chased him down because mostly my gearing.. The pipe and filter was nice and did increase power somewhat. I may be the way the bikes gearing is already built.. Kawasaki always had low end torque problems. I will put that video up eventually..

  • @SDkawi6 Bad comparison. You have a bigger motor for one. Did you race before and after the gear change? Like I said before the car vid shows the bike is about 6-8 lengths ahead of the car. No way gearing puts you that far ahead. Gearing it down will help on the bottom. And not kawis that have torque problems, its the small motor you are working with. ALL 600's have shit torque output.

  • @13tomabram I dont have a 636.. I have an 07 zx6r they abandoned the 636 after 06. I have a 599cc ninja. I'm saying it has bad torque output compared to other 600cc bikes especially that year.. I have raced cbr600s and r6s maybe its my bike.. who knows. but It pulls harder.. with those mods. i'm not lying.. If you don't believe its cool it doesnt matter, but i just accelerates harder. The pin never falls bellow 14000 rpm. Check out 07 zx6r 1/4 mile. Dude ran a 10.1 @136 mph. Only mods are gears.

  • @SDkawi6 Dont know where you get your info from.

    07 ZX6 44 lb torque

    07 CBR6 44 lb torque

    07 gixxer 6 45 lb torque.

    Looks close to me.

And no that guy had more than just gears done. FIrst off hes running -1 +5 which is ONLY for drag. Useless for the street. His ECU was modded for more power. And hes running different suspension. ALL play a big factor in the time.

  • @SDkawi6 Go to the akrapovic website. They tested their race system on the ZX6 and got a 6.5hp increase at the rear wheel. Your exhaust isnt even in the same league as the akra.

  • @SDkawi6 My bad. You misunderstood what I meant. I'm talking about making the gears longer.. I have -1 up top and its slower top end. +1 or 2 up front and basic mods will get it closer to 180 mph or whatever you want to go.. It will just be slow as dirt.. lol

  • @www16vzeteccom If by "slightly out" you mean 7%+ then yes....if it is geared at all then that will throw this read off by even more. We speedo-healed my friend's '07 ZX6R and it was 17.4% off of the gps. That makes for a rather large gap of the truth when reading 181 on your 600! If it's off 7%, which is the average, then that makes the true top speed around 168mph...which is a lil closer to accurate but maybe still a lil high. Compare your speed at 60mph with a gps and turn that into a %

  • @www16vzeteccom my speedo on a 97 ZZR is 5% inaccurate when checked by a GPS. Confirmed by going through many radars unbooked at the GPS speed. MY ZZR will do 270kph flat with a headwind. That's 161.5mph when you correct everything out an say GPS ia about a s accurate as you can get. Bloody impressive I say. That's on MIchelin PilotRoad 2 tyrees. But she has more to come since I havent hit the HP peak in top gear yet

  • And let me guess... You think you were really going 181 mph too, right?

    lol

  • i need a bike.

  • No, abercrombie boy, you don't need a bike. You'll be another squid riding around in your flip flops and preppy polo tee. Stick to tryin to look pretty like you abercrombie guys do best.

  • lol...I couldn't agree with you more! Too many fags out there with their khaki shorts and flip flops riding sport bikes.

  • @TimeTransverse BOTH YOU AND XxNINJA636xX I see that crap all the time flip flops wife beater and shorts With the helmet straped to the passanger peg, and riding like an ass. You look like a fag and you look like a bloody squid like fag when you eat it. I dont understand. Damn I hate people.

  • look at BSB lap snetterton on youtube and you'll see no blipping.

also one of brands with no blipping.

correct me if im wrong but didnt see any blipping at wsb at weekend.

spies doesnt blip and nor does max and i just watched it again on here to look for it.

    your full of shite

  • yes they do, twat

  • They have quick shifter that do not require clutch for downshifts. The map automatically blips on downshifts for them. Don't be fucking stupid. If you want to slow down without locking the rear wheel, you need to blip. Slipper clutch or not.

  • the vid shows- it takes you ages to fully release the clutch between shifts which means you are changing down the gears far too slow to be doing fast lap times!

you were slowing down gradually too so the slipper wouldnt of even worked under that little pressure,

but your oviously a know it all and just missed out on wsb stardom so ill leave you to carry on changing down gears like a 'pro' lol.

watch wsb the weekend? they were all blipping! u should watch it ..if ur not racing in it that is lol

  • listen here you fuckin twat,

you havent given any proof of your lap times either just a pic of 'someone' getting their elbow down.. ooh your so fast cus you can do that!

back on topic- you do have to blip the throttle on down changes to reduce the risk of locking up the rear wheel (slipper clutch helps) but blipping also makes the down change ALOT smoother! (fact!)

  • lol, 6 seconds quicker than my best time would put me half way up the grid in the british superbikes which are pure race bikes with 210bhp so i dont think that you quite fully understand what you are talking about.

a standard r1 cannot do these times, all the comments you are making are not backed up by any kind of facts!

as i mentioned before give some kind of evidence that you are any good on a bike.

how many track days have you done for starters? got any proof? pics? lap times?

  • most 2 stroke racers blip the throttle.

i spent the whole weekend at bsb at snetterton and watched all the races, i only noticed 1 rider on a 4 stroke that blipped the throttle on down shifting, the was riding a ktm in the 1 make series.

i noticed this because it was very loud when he blipped it, no other riders blip nowadays, except from the 125's.

plus ive been riding 27 years and have had over 50 bikes so i think ive got more than enough experience.

    NOOB lol

  • yeah well youve been riding really bad for 27 years then!

i actually said 2 stroke riders blip the throttle if you look! its just you dont need to because of the lack of engine braking but it does help when your really going for it and sounds tons better! (doesnt make you look a noob)

i very much doubt that the 4 stroke racers werent blipping the throttle! so your talking shit,

fact is your a stright line merchant and cant do fuck all else

  • i take it you have not seen my other video's then?

im anything but a straight line merchant, i've done 1 min 14 round snetterton on a 2003 standard r1 road bike.

i think that speaks for its self!

    end of conversation.

as for blipping, i only saw one rider do it over the whole weekend at BSB on a 4 stroke, maybe you need to go and watch some races and then you might learn that you know fuck all about bikes!

    NOOB

  • ive been to lots of races and they all blip the throttle!

who cares if you can get your elbow down? looks like you was stretching for it big time! lol

not the fastest way to corner mate unless you do it with huge lean angle,

and yes my video is clever.. id kick your fuckin arse on track or road no problem

  • your obviously full of shiet.

ive looked at your video's and its all gay little mini moto's and one silly scratchy knee down video.

try uploading an impressive video that will convince me that you have anywhere near as much tallent on a bike as you say.

otherwise im doing another track day soon so come see if you can keep up!

  • you wouldnt stand a fuckin chance,

learn to change gear properly and then maybe you would shave about 6 secs off your 'lap record' lol

  • you wanna learn how to ride before you start doing them speeds,

cant change up or down the gears for shit!

    blip throttle on downchanges NOOB!

  • erm.......................

you obviously dont know what you are on about.

why would someone blip the throttle on downchanges when the bike has a slipper clutch?

also you only need to blip the throttle on rapid downchanges on bikes that need it, like big v twins with no slipper clutches and some 2 strokes.

    now who's the NOOB!

  • your still the noob!

two strokes have hardly any engine braking so you dont need to on them! (still sounds better tho!)

and just cus its got a slipper clutch doesnt mean you have to make it slip lol

i.e you still blip the throttle!!

do you use abs all the time just cus your cars got it fitted?

why do wsb racers on their inline 4's blip the throttle then? theyve got slippers aswell?! fuckin idiot go take riding lessons or buy a scooter with auto gears LOL!

  • only a squid would do this shit on the street. Love how he's reaching for Seventh gear, must have been doing 160 indicated looking at his dash, rofl... future darwin award here

  • well done!

  • i have a 03 636 with full titanium exhaust had it on dyno kicked out 115 bhp top speed stock gearing on my speedo it said 182 mph but dyno guy said it was really 172 mph my speedo was out by 10 mph so the speedos need to have a speedo healer fitted to tell the true top speed

  • you sure it was bhp not whp?? thats weak for a 636, an 05 atleast

  • At top speed the speedos are not off by 10 mph, its 10% big difference. And 115 hp is pretty much all your gonna get out of any 600 without engine work. Nice bikes, my buddy has an 05 and it flies! I was with him when he dynoed his and it puit out 114.9hp.

  • if you cant keep up on your a 600 ss bike i think you need to find dif peep's to ride with

  • Stop being dumb and just accept the 6r as a very quick 600, it is quick but will not hang with a 1000. and stop being so angry it gets old reading about little kids pointing figures.

  • stop argueing you dumbasses. the only way a 600 will get into the 170's is downhill with the wind behind it too. I have an 03 R1 and an my friends 08 cbr600rr which is geared, pcIII and full piped will onyl keep up until around 100-110. I do have some heavy modifications but 600's simply do not have the torque numbers to compete. And if you are running low 10's on a stock 600 i would love to see some time slips, And if your in the 9's your a pretty damn good rider.

  • why the light of the rpm get on if he didnt get to the red line ?

  • u can adjust when that light comes on.....

  • how ?

  • turn key to on position. then hold reset and mode till the tach shows the current light set position. use the reset button to cycle thru the rpm range and hold mode and reset when done.

  • people love to talk shit...i hav a 06 zx6r..n it hit 181 as well..bone stock..n after i out a full exhaust pwr commander and k&n..i was stock geared..n yess i was holdin 144mph wheelies...so whoever doesnt kno what a 636 is capable of stfu..the one time i ran it i ran stock..w/ 15k miles and pulled a 10.8 @ 127..fuck the haters..oh..n i also hav an 08 r1 so i kno both worlds...stop hatin...

  • LOL 10.8 what?

    Lies Per Second???

  • lol...nastyeveilninja...10.8secs in the quarter mile...if u did ur homework or knew anything abut the 636( or knew how to ride one)..u wud look up that they r capabe of a 10.4 bone stock...but like i said..people love to hate what they cant do.. ;-P

  • you can change where you want the rev limiter i have an 03 zx636 that says 182 on the speedo at top speed i have been clocked buy a buddy thats a state trooper at 178mph also have a zx10 clocked it at 182mph

  • I believe this speedo must be in kph, not mph... He's just reving it in a lower gear, hence the shift light.

  • you really don't need anything more powerful then a 600cc for the street, theres not enough open road 2 really make use of the extra cc's you'd get with a liter bike

  • yup its a 636 (05-06) all right but maybe the gearing and the speedo are off

I got an 04 with -1 in the front and the speedo says im going 80 when I am actually doing 65 measured with a GPS

  • I guarantee 100% that it is off. A 600cc sportbike of any brand will only do about 165 actual speed. Your speedo is off by about 8% anything after 80mph and the percent it is off drastically goes up after that. I would bet my house against it, that a 600cc sportbike cannot run that fast stock. If you put 7 or 8 thousand into the motor then you can get that fast, but why waste the money when you can get a 1000.

  • Comment removed

  • i got an 05 636.. i changed the gearing on it -1 in the front and +1 in the back. my speedometers tellin me im doin 75 and thanks to the new civic with digital gagues i can see im doin 65. best bet is to get a healtech speedohealer. 100 bucks and no matter how much you change your sprockets you can calibrate it 99.999% correct. there awesome.

  • only noobs need a tach

  • i did the same thing though same in the front and -4 in the rear it reaches 177mph on the straight away could prob hit 180mph on a down hill and this was with a gps

  • i have an 06 and will never get rid of mine.. they are truly one of a kind....

  • but these 636 bikes r awesome by the way and i have seen them keep up with 1000cc alot of the time! unbelievable bikes, shame they stopped making them! my buddy had one, not sure of the year though and he would be on the back wheel at 140mph, just crazy!

  • you have seen no such thing! what you seen was a non-rider that must have weighed 300+lbs. and shifting at 8k rpms for ANY 600 to keep up! ..and NO 600 can wheelie at 140mph! ur retarded!

  • your a fucking retard for one and 2 i didnt say he popped it up at 140mph but he was still up at 140mph, douche bag! why dont you go out an actually ride or something cuz for one the 636 is faster than a 600, fucking idiot!

  • why don't you click on my name and watch my videos clown...looks like I've been doing alot of riding!

a 600 or 636 isn't keeping the front wheel up at 140mph...who cares if a 636 is faster than a 600...they are both slow, so what's ur point?

your obviously a squid, so I won't waste my time debating your pipe dream...continue on with your fantasy of a 600 wheelying at 140mph and keeping up with a liter bike...LMAO...ur exactly what ur screen name implies...a lil loo-py...31 days per month!

  • ya i seen your riding asswipe, and its pretty pathetic i see you got nos on a zx10 and barely gettin under 10sec et's better stay off here and get out there and practice more and make that bike run like it should, hell the 636 i was talking about was doing quarter mies in 10.1 and your doing 9.7 with a zx10 and with nos and lowered and stretched out, your the fucking squid, you fucking retard and hell my R1 without nos and lowered looking like ass like your bike, will do better than 9.7sec et's

  • LMAO! I run 9.6's without N20...it's N20 or ntirous...not NOS you hollywood fag! NOS is a company idiot! It's amazing how much stupid shit one person can say online...so now you have a 636 that can outrun bolt-on busas!?!?! because they average 10.3's

  • whatever faggot, your N2O or Nos who gives a fuck your time with it is still pathetic...its not my 636 by the way it is a friends and i watched him run it a few times and his lowest run with power commander and slip on Ackrapovic exhaust was 10.1, and i got a friend with a busa with some bolt ons that will smoke your lame ass bike, or wait maybe its not the bike, i think its the rider...a 9.6et with "N2O" You FAGGOT is weak! my buddys stock Busa runs 9.62 seconds @ 149 MPH, learn how to ride fag

  • O wait you say you run 9.6's without nitrous? but when i watched your video it was a 9.7 with the nitrous!

  • a500 in derby 182mph gps`d by my mate on a r1

    and my bike a zx6r b1h 636

  • I have first hand knowledge that an 03 ZX 636 will indeed do 181 with stock gearing. I've done it on a stretch of road in FL. 181MP of the rev.

  • ill beat money that is off or its an zx-10

  • clearly its off, and its also clearly a 636 (look at the RPM's)...all motorcycles are off after you hit about 75 or so...then they are off by about 8-15 mph. A zx6r of this year will redline at around 16,000, a zx10 of any year will redline somewhere around 12-14

  • shit dude you got me beat by 1 mph, i didnt hold mine up there as long as you did tho cuz i was comin up on sum cars. i know these bikes gotta be off w/ the speedos cuz even the busas have governors that keep it at a 186 max.

  • ive it 155 on mine no problem with pleny to go on 2 mile strip maybe a little extra havent measured feel it will do 168 at rev limit i have mods full yoshi exh, kn, barret clutch pow com.

  • yeah

the speedo is waaayy off, ive got an 06 and it dynoed top speed of 168 and thats without any drag, real conditioins youd be lucky to see 165

  • the kawasaki clocks on the zx6r are way out.

I over took my mate doing 120mph on a 748, he said at the time his speedo said 130 when realistically he was doing around 115.

  • is this stock?

  • Hey "highrolleryfzr1" the hayabusa is not the fastest bike thats out right now it's the kawasaki ninja zx14 has the busa beat stock!!!!

  • Not that i like either of these 2 bikes but i seen the test of the new zx14 and new busa and both have expert riders and the busa still beats the zx14 in quarter mile by a couple tenths of a second or more give or take!

  • im a big fan of the 636 but i cant wait to pick up my 08 this spring. im fuckin pumped.

im bored of my o8 250r

  • nice bike... can any1 tell me why every1's sayin it didnt go that fast?? when it sayed it did?? and why does it lie then?? thanks

  • because as the speed increses the more the gauge is off. its pry off my up to 10%. you can just get a speedohealer to fix that tho. pry only goin around 170mph if that

  • ohh right...

also im looking for a bike for when i turn 17 and want 1 of the fastest on the road... as long as it goes over 200 what would u sujjest??

    thanks

  • Ya well i would not suggest that at all. its not like ridin dirt bikes. start on a 600 or 250. and work you way up every year. thats what i did. you hop on a bike and decide to go 200 which will only happen if you get a busa. possibly a new gixer. ur gunna be throwin down 10 to 15 grand. but i suggest startin on a 250 or a old 600. just hoppin and learnin on a 1000 is a death trap trust me. ask anyone who rides bikes.

  • Thats the best advice anyone could give.Take your time step up and enjoy your self alot longer !!!
