  • Bought my dinar when I fought in Iraq in '04. Or found it on a non moving person. Either way, if it ever goes one to one, or even half that, I'm good for life. I don't need these former desert rats to hook me up.

  • Buy Silver!

  • Obviously - guys in cheep suits trying to sell the ignorant on buying something as if worth 1000 fold more than it really is. Think of it - The Dinar is tied to the dollar. If the Dinar gained 1000 fold value to the dollar then the dollar would loose 1000 against the Dinar. Simple. Fact is every money/country in the world would have loose/drop 1000 fold against Iraq and the Dinar. Can you name one single Country willing to do this to their own money? You cant - your cheap car salesmen.

  • Bull shit. The only way the dinar will pay out what you claim is if the Iraqi Government itself is willing to payout such earnings. They would looooose 1000 fold on the 50 Billion dollars they purchased. If such was true the Iraqi could sell every dinar to the market as such value today. A salesman scam for sure. Think of this - if the return was true why would you guys sell a single Dinar? You would be giving away billions. B.S>

  • govt shills are posting the same comments on every site that sells the Dinar. i see you

  • The laws and regulations that affect your investment. ...

  • The Iraqi Dinar is quickly becoming the hottest investment item on the market today.

  • I read on internet that the IMF released a statement in relation to the international compact with Iraq, which has turned the tide in regards to speculation on the Iraq dinar.

  • @TheDevinrichard: Allows US Citizens to invest in the new Iraq. Under this order and the Coalition Provisional Government Order 39, a US Citizen has the same rights to investments as an Iraqi citizen.

  • What is it that allows American citizens to invest in Iraq?

  • @jamesjohn03: These are the major things to check.

    1) Use black light to test for watermarks such as the horse head.

    2) Use a special pen to detect fake bills with changing color - available from your local office supply store.

    3) Hold the 25,000 and 10,000 Iraqi Dinar up to a light tilting it back and forth, the color changing ink will look much like a hologram.

  • which are the three of the easiest ways to verify the authenticity of the new Iraqi Dinar.

  • If you are into big risk, then obtain some, but know that it has not changed much since its inception.

  • My advise to you all is say away from the Iraqi Dinar as an investment.

  • If you could go back a few years, you would see that many of the sites dealing in Iraqi Dinar promised wealth within months and as you can see, not much has chanced with the money since then.

  • Step back, take a deep breath and know that the same pitch existed last year.

  • You will see charts and read material that will make you anxious to buy, perhaps even to the point that you may make a panic purchase but don’t let it influence you.

  • I think investing in the Iraqi Dinar, as with any type of currency trading, is a big risk! Yes, there is a possibility that it may make you a lot of money, but it is a very remote possibility!

  • Dealers also like you to believe that they go to great lengths to get the Iraqi Dinar, such as flying people to Iraq to collect the money, bringing it through customs and more; Again, don’t fall for it, chances are, it’s another big lie!

  • Dealers specializing in Iraq Money would like you to believe they have been cleared by the government (background checks, etc) – don’t fall for it!

  • Some of these dealers even go as far as to explain that they are trusted by the government and supply you with a document to reinforce this illusion.

  • Iraqi Dinar is very real, but the pitch many Dinar dealers try to send your way is far from reality and designed to get you buy from them.

  • The sales point of most online Iraqi Dinar hawkers is that it only takes a minimal upgrade of their economy to profit from an increased exchange value for their currency

  • That’s about as realistic as thinking that the new Iraqi Dinar will amount to anything of value in the near future.

  • The Americans believe it’s time for other governments to belly up to the bar and make their own contributions to the cause.

  • I’ve noticed that a recent statement from the USA government has announced that they’ve hit the wall budgetarily in Iraq they’ve given enough financial aid to rebuild Iraq.

  • Americans have destroyed the iraq they want oil but i think they have destroyed their own economy…i pray for the stable iraqi economy and for stable currency

  • This is all tripe. I can't believe people fall for this nonsense. Iraq is a disaster and will be for a very long time. These companies they mention "have invested billions of dollars" alright, but not in these ridiculous dinars. If this was such a sure bet, don't you think everybody would know about it? If oil is the secret, why isn't Venezula (which has massive oil reserves) exploding with growth. C'mon, use your head!

  • The new Iraqi Dinar represents is becoming a virtual cottage industry .

  • The dinar may well increase in value over the next few years and is a good bet for speculation. 'Speculation' being the operative word. . The bank/govt will not suddenly increase it's value by 300 – 400 – 500 in one smack like some people have been led to believe not without serious problems. Every Iraqi would be a millionaire overnight. :) Ask yourself this? If this was the deal it's being billed as... Why are these dealers selling? They would be hoarding instead.

  • The economy of Iraq has nearly doubled in value.

  • Why the New Iraqi Dinar?

  • The potential for a positive revalue of the New Iraqi Dinar is quite high.

  • The Iraqi Dinar is not traded in the world markets but you can still invest in this great opportunity.

  • It has the symbol of IQD on world currency markets such as Forex.

  • Before the war the Iraqi dinar was worth about one third of a U.S. dollar.

  • Major multi-national oil companies are now returning to Iraq which promises to bring economic prosperity to the war torn country.

  • There are still many things that could go wrong, including inflation, which would drive the value of the Dinar down.

  • Some daring investors who purchased bundles of Iraqi currency just after the interim government took control are reaping nice profits.

  • I hope the New Dinar stays the same.

  • "The Central Bank of Iraq has announced their plans to redenominate the Iraqi Dinar to ease cash transactions. By the end of 2010, they intend to drop three zeros from the nominal value of bank notes. It should be noted that the actual value of the dinar will remain unchanged. That means that 1,000 IQD (pre-redenomination) and 1 dinar (post-redenomination) will both be worth the same amount in US Dollars." XE.com

  • IRD is the most secured currency in the world from fraud.

  • Great fit for Iraq! With the support of other oil countries why would they not roll out the most expensive currency knowned to man?

  • I have read somewhere that Oct 31 is the last day for the ISX to be online if the IQD is to be a recognised tradable currency.

  • The dinar replaced the Indian rupee as the country's national currency, which is issued by the Central Bank of Iraq.

  • The currency abbreviation or currency symbol for the Iraqi Dinar (IQD), the currency of Iraq.

  • The investors who saw this as an oppotunity to buy are very well off today.

  • I understand what many critics are trying to warn iraqi dinar investors about.

  • Is anything good happening in Iraq?

  • It further went into how Iraq is sitting on vast oil reserves and as soon as the new elections for the parliment take place and the government is in place and stability comes to pass, that the value will rise dramatically.

  • I caved once again, and bought 200,000 IQD on this past sunday, becuase thats all I currently can afford.

  • I have Iraqi Dinar and can tell you that I bought it with the idea that the Iraqi Dinar may never make me money. It is a slim, very, very slim chance that it will perform, but I knew the risks before hand.

  • If you could go back a few years, you would see that many of the sites dealing in Iraqi Dinar promised wealth within months and as you can see, not much has chanced with the money since then.

  • Investing in the Iraqi Dinar, as with any type of currency trading, is a big risk!

  • Near to me dealers also like you to believe that they go to great lengths to get the Iraqi Dinar, such as flying people to Iraq to collect the money, bringing it through customs and more; Again, don’t fall for it, chances are, it’s another big lie!
