  • I was there it was my 38th birthday...will never forget it ! Awesome...my third time I had seen them live, they just better with time!

  • you were that close and u waste ur time filming the show O_o

  • fuck anyone who puts bono and u2 down he does nothing wrong they are better and have more talent than these new shit artists out who cant even sing live

  • U2 wrote "Miami"

  • @extreme67 I don't mind it - if Radiohead played the same shit you'd have an army of douchbags trying to play it with open chords ...

  • It's very cool this song it is very true.........

    simply u2 the best. Adrian

  • why the labour party? you judge? who said you are approved to judge? another idiot who thinks having a keyboard and a dildo is the weapons of mass destruction! Im still sleeping!

  • great band

  • yeah, it was strange to play it so early, i had the awesome experience to see them play it in the encore in boston on may 28th after "until the end of the world" like in zootv, an awesome surprise for my favorite u2 song

  • and i sat in shitty seats for this concert

  • strange to play this song so early in the show

  • I luv U2 but i do get tired of Bono's polotics sometimes, however, he is a good man and is trying to give back and there is nothing wrong with that.

  • why is everyone so against him trying to help others? Does he make you feel inadequate as you live your everyday selfish lives?

While the other pop stars are busy snorting their wealth up their noses and not giving a hoot about everyone else, he shows his humanity, maybe if the world was a tiny bit caring it wouldnt be in the mess it is in, theres plenty for everyone.

  • Beautifuly explained

  • No, because most people don't go to a pop concert to be preached to... its very selfish to turn a celebration of music into a labour party rally.

  • Oh, yes, its very selfish to care for others. It takes a selfish man to try and get as many people to help starving children.

  • "His efforts to solve famine left a bitter taste in my mouth." I can't understand why that would give you that feeling. I know it's a cliche these days, but Bono has actually made a tangible difference in Africa. Of course it's not just him, he's just the photogenic face on the cover of the Time magazine. But Jesus, the man made Jesse Helms CRY, for Christ's sake. Anyone that can make that asshole see the light is worth paying attention to.

  • If Bono wants to solve 3rd world poverty, fine. Just dont dress up a fund raising exercise as promo tour of a record. I ATTENDED TO BE ENTERTAINED...NOT BRAINWASHED!

  • 1) That's not brainwashing

    2) You're not a U2 fan

  • Why don't you just take a ferry over to Dublin and stick your tongue down the back of his trousers? If being a U2 fan means you have to agree with every thing Bono says, then you're right, I'm not a U2 fan. Now why don't you rejoin your flock? BAA BAA

  • Ok, I have to admit, that was funny. But, I don't agree with everything the man says. I'm just saying, if you don't agree with saving Africa from being wiped out by hunger and disease, you can't possibly be a U2 fan.

  • I'm a music fan, rock n roll to be more precise. No band does it better than U2, but it doesn't mean I have to agree with the politics. I never said I didn't agree with the idea of aiding the African continent, I just don't need it when I've paid a small fortune to escape reality for a couple of hours.

  • I hear ya. I guess I'm just saying that Bono talking about that kind of stuff is just a part of being at a U2 show. Has been since what, '83? Having said that, I wish Bono would just shut up and concentrate on not putting out yet another mediocre album.

  • yeh there has always been topics at a U2 concert, be it war or the one campaign. But man..mediocre album?..HTDAAB was awesome, not as good as All that you cant leave behind i didnt think, but yeh, its still great.

  • Personally, I thought the last 2 albums were mediocre by U2's standards. They weren't anywhere near as good as Boy, Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby or even Pop. Yes there were moments of greatness on ATYCLB and HTDAAB, but they've started to bore me. And that's hard for me to say because I've been a U2 nutcase for 25 years. They just need to shake things up a bit. They're stuck in an easy-listening rut. (Like Radiohead is stick in a Kid A, Kid B, Kid C rut.) Not terrible, just not stellar. :)

  • Different things appeal to different people, I think ATYCLB is their best album, just above Achtung Baby. HTDAAB isn't quite as good as an album, but there's still some incredible tunes on there.

  • Wow, ATYCLB better than Achtung Baby, now that's something you don't hear very often. Any particular reason why you like ATYCLB so much?

  • I actually agree with haircut1000 here. I LOVE U2 but I really hate being preached at during concerts. Bono's a great man, and he's trying to help because he thinks it's important and that's wonderful but keep it seperate from the concert. And for the love of God Bono quit singing about it! Go back to singing about love and love lost.

  • I was not far behind you!

    BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

  • Achtung Baby RULE!

  • Yeah, this song is great, in the half time, come on now love!!, dont you look back!!.

But whats going on with the band, in the finish jajaja, and Bono: whats the matter with you Edge! jaja

(Look the video and you will understand me)

  • MMM the sound is some bad, but is a great song!

    Thanks for this video!
