Intakes on the TRD charger dont do a whole lot for power. The only real positives are the throaty throttle note, louder SC whine and more audible bypass recirculation. Icenine used the factory airbox and just a KN Drop in filter with his 311whp SC setup so what does that tell ya.

Short ram is under the hood and can be placed behind the hood scoop which would increase air flow but that doesent make it a different type of kit. The kit shown in the video IS A SHORT RAM INTAKE bottom line.
