Basically he is implying that he gives out a lot of money for your gold then he is saying he'll give you massive on the spot loans so he's kind of counteracting himself in saying that. As he apparently gives us the most money for our gold and still has enough money to give massive loans.

He hasn't contradicted anything in saying so. He gives out a lot of money for your gold.. but if you need more than what your gold is worth, then he is willing to give you a cash loan on the spot. Not a difficult concept.
