  • I noticed Pontypool was available to watch instantly on Netflix, so I watched it based on your recommendation. Great movie. I am a fan of low budget films like this that must rely on casting, writing and directing. I know you like horror films but I would like to see you do lists like this on all genres.

  • Where is Paranormal Activity and I prefer the remake of Let The Right One In. Let Me In

  • I'm planning on doing a top 20 myself. You're missing Splinter.

  • rec. is way better than quarantine. U mad, bro.

  • Lovin the list buddy, really do! From Wrong Turn to Frailty to Trick R' Treat. Man ur list goes on! Definite thumbs up here!

  • i love how you dont kiss everyone's ass and dn't pick movies everyone dont like and you sort of look like a young vince vaughn

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR LIST!! lol i am a horror movie junkie!

  • Orphan ftw i love the fuck out of it

  • Dawn of the dead number one come on best zombie movie

  • Umm dude, you forgot borat -_- that's a fucking scary movie

  • I hate dead snow and i am from Norway, lol :P and yes quarantine was so much better then rec:)

  • American Pshyco isn't an horror movie.

  • @90Buscape

Considering that the writer said it is a horror movie and the fact it is a about a serial killer and that it is essentially a horror comedy slasher movie where the lead character kills people with a knife, ax , chainsaw , it is definitely a horror movie. I am shocked that someone wouldn't consider it a horror movie.

  • @Absolutsublime1 I agree

  • @90Buscape To some it may be...

  • great list...but where is Session 9?? Did I miss it on here? That needs to be top 10!

  • @JMathewsMan

I liked Session 9 much more on repeated viewings and am going to make a new top 20 list on my new channel and Session 9 will most likely be on the list.

  • hatchet was ok but should not be that high up

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with most of ur list , but there is some movies u should've mentioned like the grudge , its pretty scary and u cant deny it , and also dead silence !

  • Thumbs up if you noticed bender!

  • I loved your number one pick... have to agree on that one...

  • Let The right One In is my FAVORITE movie EVER!!!!! Dude, you have excellent taste in movies!! Let The Right One In is so much different from anything i have ever seen in my whole life! Those kids are phenomenal! It took them over a year to find them! Plus, it was their first movie! That makes it even more amazing. I'll be the first to tell you that I am in love with that movie.

  • @laurelfan1

Thanks I appreciate that. The child actors really did a phenomenal job in the movie and for me Let the Right One In is an instant classic. You have great tastes as well.

  • @Absolutsublime1 You're welcome and Thank you as well. You get it, man. You know horror. I also love the British film, "Gnaw. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. Also, "the Red Right Hand" and "The Lodger" are awesome. "The Lodger" is mainly a psychological thriller, but it also fits into the suspense/horror categories. Organism is another good one. LTROI will always be my fave, tho.

  • @Absolutsublime1 Oh, also---"Dying Breed"and "The Broken" are good. Idk what years these movies were made in, but they are all great.

  • What about Frontiers and High Tension.....they were bloody good too.

  • Borderland was great...

  • Thanks for talking about your "top 22" instead of raping my ears with shitty music.

  • A great list

  • martyrs is def top 10 to

  • may should be in your list.

    elija dushku is a douchebag

  • trick r treat was good. it definitey in the top 10.

  • THANK YOU for giving props to Quarantine -- they are certainly due.

Let the Right One In, The Ring, and Orphan = PERFECT picks.

American Pyscho & Trick R Treat = underwhelming for me.

Session 9 -- woulda been nice to see on your list, amazing film.

  • i hated jeepers creepers :(

  • wow so not scary(omg i am so scared! so fake loh)

  • I'd add Dead Silence, Drag Me To Hell, and Freddy vs Jason...nice picks

  • so if you really want a list of movies this is a list friend !

  • Both Hatchet movies rule!!! Adam Green is my fav director ever!!! Trick R Treat is also an awesome movie!!!

  • love the descent have to say i watch tons of horrors yet never scared and i watched this and i got a littel freaked but not SCARED my sister asked to watch a creepy film and she jumped highr then the roof when she saw it

  • Fuck Sean Austin, FAT redneck piece of shit. Who the fuck told that asshole he could act?

  • Im loving your drum roll you do at the end

  • Aw fuck yeah you won bro!

  • u r off ure fuckin head dude the best horror movie of the last 10 years is saw

  • what did you, or anyone reading this think of "Stay Alive", the video game movie?

  • I have 28 days later on blu ray and it fuckin sucks. Definitely prefer 28 WEEKS later. Also glad to see someone who likes jeepers creepers as much as me.

  • alright, i saw a show about horror films and i saw one but i cant remember what it was.. all i can remember is 'a man is chained on a wall and a woman is sticking needles in his whole body and even in his eyes.' can you tell me what movie that is please?

  • @twowords1 May be the Asian Horror "Audition"

  • @FearLoki I think that is it man! thanks alot i have been trying to figure it out FOREVER

  • really good list!! but pontypool wasn't scary at all in my opinion..... it's a good movie though

  • Good choices.

    Loved most of those films.

Except for Hatchet, I don't know, it was a bit dodgy and a very typical horror film.

  • 28 days later my fav

  • you should wtch "Martyrs" a very creepy disturbing horror movie. it's french btw

  • Thanks, Gave me alot of new movies to look up!!! :)

  • I disagree with your choices

  • nice video dude loved it also agreed with it also loved the drum role lol

  • nice video dude loved it also agreed with it

  • didnt a serbian film come out in 2009?

  • @MaskedReaper13

    I agree! My favorite genre

  • @Absolutsublime1 The scariest horror films I've ever seen that REALLY CREEPED ME OUT are: The Shining, The Ring (specifically the creepy tape!), Insidious, Dead Silence and The Strangers! What horror films scared you? Not your favorite but scared you!

  • I saw the remake to let the right one in I did enjoy it but I find it more of a romance then horror so ;/ there is no way in hell that is a good horror movie something to scare someone not just because it is good.. Martyrs is and will always be the greatest "horror" movie ever that movie is scary and has a really fucking good story will a mind fuck of a ending please before you pick s horror.. Make sure it is one..

  • @zyckii

Please before leaving a comment make sure you know what you are talking about. Let The Right One In is a horror movie, just because it has some drama and romance in it doesn't mean it isn't a horror movie, and you haven't even seen it, you saw the remake! Martyrs is not the greatest "horror" movie at all, it isn't even the best French horror movie! The story is so absurd it's laughable! The first half was amazing, the second half was 40 mins of a girl being beaten then skinned.

  • vampire movies are over done. It is damn near impossible to make another great vampire movie. I like the descent a lot.

    Have you seen the orphanage?

  • Comment removed

  • wow you like tcm the beginning. most people thinks its a piece of crap and major tv networks gave it one and half star out of 4.

  • matthew mconaughey definitey has more than 3 good movies.

  • 11:00 good 10:59

  • i love the move dawn of the dead to

  • trick r treat is so good i love the move

  • good moves

  • Switch the ring with the hills have eyes other than that you aced it

  • I would've had Slither on my list. It was a neat twist on the standard alien "body snatcher" idea, and was inventive and funny as hell. I mean, really funny. Good list though.

  • btw wrong turn its 2003

  • i love you list but i thought trick r treat was terrible!!

  • Hatchet 2 was awesome, Jeepers creapers 1 and 2 are both awesome, the tortured was good, and hostel part 1 and 2 were amazing, i love really violent and gory/brutal movies, anyone know any others i might like?

  • Hatchet is one of the worst film Ive ever seen. Each scene in this film is so dumb that I feel sorry for director of this shit.

Where is Hills have eyes on this list?

  • @Absolutsublime1 Your reviews are awesome bro keep up the good work ( :

  • inside is my favorite horror of all time. a bloody masterpiece!

  • Okay your list is pretty much perfect, but I think that you NEED to add in Lake Mungo. It is a SUUUUPER scary movie and if you haven't seen it you REALLY need to check it out!

  • of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion and i won't talk down on anyone who thinks differently than i do but WHY does like, everyone say that trick r' treat was a good movie? i didn't find it funny, scary, and the story wasn't good for me. can someone please tell me something i may have missed from that movie? because it was so god awful to me. :/

  • dead snow is the shittest film ever made

  • liked your list but one film that scared me alot was

    pennydreadful

    check that

  • hatchet was shit wrong turn is amazing

  • i deffinately think the english tend to make scarier horror movies however you cannot beat the americans for gore and CGI effects!

  • @360andmerule

True, but I thing Horror is about scaring people, not gore. Giving the English the head on the horror genre in my opinion.

I personally hate the Saw and Hostel series. Gore for the sake of gore, it isn't a horror because it isn't scary. =/

  • @Anonkyou i supose but you cant beat amerixccans for zombies? dawn of the dead, land of the dead and others i loved tht tv series The walking dead i thought that was better then our series called deadset which i think you guys should check out if you are from america

  • Let The Right One In isn't one of those scary horror films, but one of those horror films which are absoluely perfect! I love the film! The Descent is also brilliant and an instant classic. I will be buying Inside soon :)

  • Oh wait. Before you look for Switchblade Romance It called 'High Tension' in the US and maybe even in France. Or so I heard

  • I liked this list. Have you seen a french film called "Switchblade Romance"? I recommend it

  • Comment removed

  • 1/5 LOL

  • good vid but you've overlooked:

    Martyrs

    Antichrist

    Frontier(s)

    Drag me to hell

    The Exorcism Of Emily Rose

  • Martyrs and the remake of I Spit On Your Grave should be in

  • @HumanLampshades

I spit on your grave remake was 2010 so it wasn't in that decade. I picked Inside over Martyrs, just a personal preference.

  • Martyrs and the remake of I Spit On Your Grave should be in :)

  • ALLAH

  • Right Pontypool it is, and il be back here again. thanks man.

  • i checked out pontypool because it was on your list and I had never heard of it....gotta say I liked it! Great list man!

  • @speedEjonzalez I watched Pontypool and I give it 6/10 which is ok for me. I recently watched Let me in, I know its not in this video BUT 8/10 so I looked for more child horror so I used this Video and I was refered to Orphan and I give it 8/10 it kicks Pontypool arse anyday.

  • @wezatch yea ive seen all of those you mentioned...orphan was by far my favorite but I liked pontypool because it was something different and unusual....anyways to each his own. If you got anymore movie recommendations let me know!

  • @wezatch

Let Me In was in 2010 so it wasnt that decade, but the original Let The Right One in was my number 1 choice, and in my opinion was much better than the american remake ; Let Me In.

  • @wezatch no offence but are u british?

  • @sephiroth8261 er yeh i do speak English

  • @wezatch

Let Me In is a remake of Let The Right One In, which is my number 1 spot on this list.

I did put Orphan higher than Pontypool on the list, but I think Pontypool is much better than you give it credit for, a very unique film with tense moments.

  • @speedEjonzalez

I'm glad you liked Pontypool, it's a shame it's not well known, it is very unique and well done, a personal favorite of mine.

  • Dude .. the list is cool .. but had someone here tried asian horror movies? just a thought : )

  • @speedEjonzalez

Thanks, glad you liked it! You rock!

  • Dude what the fuck why does the US get way better DVD cases than the UK that 28 Days Later DVD rocks!

  • @KyuubiKris

Haha thanks, but you guys get way more releases than we do it seems like , there are so many movies the UK has that we don't even have over here in the US.

  • @KyuubiKris

I have that DVD cover and Im from the UK...... O.o maybe it's special edition?

  • nice choice of movies, also love ur DRUM =)

  • great vid man! did you like "Let Me In" as well? I LOVED it but i never saw the original.

  • What the cloud house story wait what is it??

  • Wow I agree w/ you 100%. I've almost seen all of those movies you mentioned, except for maybe 5. Let the right one in was a great movie. I have to check out inside and I have seen Borderland. Suggestion: check out Martyrs, if you haven't, it's a french film. It was really good.
