The fastest monopoly has a trade between 2 players. Player1 rolls and lands and purchases a property and then sell it for all money player 2 has. Then player 2 go to income tax and choose to pay 200 then bankrupt. 10 seconds!

Any player, including the one who declined the option to buy it at the printed price, may bid. Bidding may start at any price.

It's kind of a fun mini-game, and kind of funnym but obviously it speaks nothing to the actual game's time length when you go to play with friends. Since everyone is trying to win, and play as best they can.

oh, um did the guy who went bankrupt own any property? if so then he would rather sell them off, so to come up with his rent or tax pay. simply put, i find it hard to believe they played in a matter that would be considered normal for a person trying to play and to perhaps win.

Not to mention, you can hardly call this a real game of monopoly. Who actually mortgages properties the second they buy them? Where is the strategy behind that? Yes, some people play monopoly stupidly, like you say, but usually not on purpose like you do.

Well no crap...monopoly is very fast with two people as it's much easier to get...well, to get a monopoly. It's when you play with four or more players it gets long and complicated. The properties get spread out so much it almost gets impossible.

Try playing with six people, as I often do, where everyone ends up with around 4-6 properties each instead of 12-14 each. And then they are usually so spread out that three different people will have one of each color which makes trading harder.

around 1:58 i'm pretty sure the guy on the left accidentally took $200 out of his own money and put it back in the bank when he was supposed to collect it from the bank for advancing to GO. there might be other mistakes. like there was another part about paying a tax but he took money instead of paying?

@FPSMYLIFE Yes, you can. To quote the rules, "A player get out of Jail by . . . (4). paying a fine of $50 before he rolls the the dice on either of his next two turns." You're confusing this with the situation where you try to get out by rolling doubles. If you don't by the third try, you have to pay $50 and go out.
