  • GO FIJI GO..!!

  • i love that moment when you wait for francois steyn's kick to land in the post

  • almost as good as my weaker foot

  • He did a 63meter kick this world cup

  • Ja die man skop die beste in die wereld , niemand kan skop soos frans nie!

  • Francois Steyn, THE man. One of the very few if not the only player that can kick from that far out. Legendary im such a proud Saffa :-)

  • If only he was playing against Australia, instead of the other Steyn....

  • @TheDon942 Doesnt change the fact that good old Pocock got away with murder and Lawrence refused to ref the breakdown.

  • @PeteAbo He refused to ref MULTIPLE high tackles. Three cardable offences ignored! POcock himself took Brussow out off the ball before Steenkamp dotted down for our first of three tries.

  • @TheDon942 morne is as good as francois, i even think morne kicks are better

  • @trosselot95 Morne is a little short of Fran's range, but is officially the most accurate at test level. He hold the test record for most consecutive kicks... 44. He holds many other records.

  • @MariusSoma that´s what i am same morne only missed a couple kicks on the world cup against australia from like 50m. francois kick's very good long distance too they are really good kicker´s

  • @TheDon942 Morne is the most well rounded 10 at present. Only if you have Frans outside Morne will you have the premier 10-12 combo in test rugby. It completely transformed our game. Idiotic Saffers fell into another media drive to attack Morne. The real culprit was, as I always stated, Jean McPlodder De Villiers.

  • @MariusSoma You could blame De Villiers for a lot of things, including our demise between 2009 and 2011. But as South African fans there was nothing we could do, his appointment was all politics despite the records of both Dick Muir and Heyneke Meyer. Morne is wrongfully pinned by under educated fans. When people consider Cooper as a better 10, you know that rugby's star has well and truly fallen in the past decade.

  • I was at this game...I shouted "YOU DON'T HAVE ANY ALTITUDE TO HELP YOU HERE STEYN" - I kept my mouth shut for the rest of the game...

  • @unclecy so was i and i was soppurting fiji and i had seats down the front with about 100 south africans

  • @unclecy South African kickers don't need altitude. We produce massive kickers that perform all over the world. van Straaten, de Beer, Frans, Morne, Hougaard, de Waal, Du Preez, Percy, Naas, Koen, Butch had a magical 2007 with the boot. I could name many more.

  • Loving the HD quality sound.....

  • FIJI FTW!

  • ive heard rumours that hes nailed them from his own 22 in training anyone else heard that?

  • @Durrbstepp21 Yeah its true

  • @Durrbstepp21 Well if you watch his drop against clermont he could have probably had that from 70m out so whack it on a tee and if he gets a good strike I wouldn't put it as being beyond him...

  • Holy crap it nearly cleared the dba.

  • Kicking in rugby is possibly the most boring thing ever. EXCEPT when this guy decides to start kicking from over 50m (then it's actually a little interesting to watch)

  • @ImEasyAs Thought it was pretty funny when I watched the Samoa game the commentators actually said pretty much the same thing. That usually a crowd hates a kicking game, except when Steyn decides to take them :D

  • @ImEasyAs YOu think thats boring? try watching a game of league

  • @ImEasyAs you obviously dont kick do you

  • @ImEasyAs Disagree entirely.

  • @HectorSuxxx69 you're the only person I know who's said they like a kicking game in Rugby. There is a game for little men that want to kick a ball at a goal to score points ... it's NOT rugby.

  • @ImEasyAs Yes, in fact kicking is an NTEGRAL part of rugby. No successful side has EVER been so without a solid kicking game. Clearly you understand very little about the game. Did you know that since 2009 Carter has kicked more New Zealand than Morne has for the Boks? Look at Morne's masterclass victory last year over NZ to get your first lesson. Tactical kicking will never be obselete.

  • @MariusSoma I've only played Rugby for 25 years, I guess I could learn to appreciate 29 players of a game standing around for 5mins doing nothing while they all wait for 1 guy to take a placekick. Doesn't matter if it's Carter or Steyn, it's still boring IMO. Only if kicking in HUGE winds, or over extreme distances is it fun to watch IMO. How many times do you see a place kick featured in the highlights of a game? NEVER, cos it's boring; Doesn't mean it can't be appreciated though.

  • @ImEasyAs I don't believe you have ever played the game. Tactical kicking, that's what is under question here. That's what everyone complains about. My comparison with Carter is very valid as Morne a ignorantly reviled for "kicking too much", when in fact he statistically doesn't. that exposes these PERCEPTIONS that so called fans have about the game. Tactical kicking has been the backbone of every successful side.

  • @MariusSoma Who cares if one kicks more than the other. Steyn has the bigest place-kick in the world! Carter has better defensive awareness, Cooper has a better pass bla bla bla.

A good kick for touch or full field try ... what would you rather see? I'm a Kiwi, I pride myself on a challenge, I'd rather do it the hard way as I take greater appreciation in suceeding at a challenge than taking the easy road ... Probably why my fake kicks from inside my 22 get me in the shit so often :D

  • juslaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaik!
