this has been one of my favorites since the day it was released. i cant remember how many times i listened to it before i fell asleep as it still played on...;)/
this album an this group are fuckin' incredible!..they deserve so much more credit..i would put this album toe too toe with appetite for destruction any day!!!
19years old, port of call Maljorca Spain. Got to smoking some hashish with this bitchin little spanish girl, fuck me she had some tolerance to that shit. followed her back to her flat on my hands and knees, crawling like a dog I was so fuckered up. Every climax she'd swallow my load. Hell I couldnt go back to the ship, got busted down 4 pay grades, and kicked out of the nav but it was worth it. As close to heaven as I'll ever get.
A girlfriend I had when this album came out was hot and a nympho and I had my walkman with this on cassette and I would sit on a fence near her house and listen to this cracking album then go2 her place when i'd listened to the whole thing and have tip top nookie god i'd give my right arm to be 18 again!
@42fontenator in 1987 all i known of the cult was "fire woman" then a friend reminded me how fucking awesome they was in 1994 with this ,the sonic temple album & the "ram " album . bottom line ....they became & STILL ARE 1 of my favorite bands of ALL-TIME!
I saw the cult circa 1998 or 1999 at the great western forum in los angeles, CA. ian's hair must have been down to his ass, but you could never tell because it was always in mid air flipping around. How he never broke a neck I will never understand. hahaha! Great show.
great music from a great decade....they actually played their own instruments....unlike music of today!!!

I was 6 years old when my brother brought this LP! From that day I'm a rocker. Now, 24 years later, I still love rock and The Cult!
