Ouch. I had seen this game in a flea market, on the same table, just sitting there for years. When I finally was convinced of the game's awesomeness, it was nowhere to be found ever again. Except on the new game store, but the price has gone to heaven heights. Geez. ;_;

I remember the first time I played this game and got to the Akuda Bar for the first time and the Propaganda song is playing. I fell in love with it, and actually left my game on idle so I could listen to it while doing other things. Such a great game with phenomenally unique music. Too bad we won't be getting another like it anytime soon.

Yep, not long after I posted that comment I found the teaser trailer for it and added it to my favorites. I literally bounced up and down in my chair giggling madly when the camera panned to Pey'j.

Jeez, I rented this game once a few years back; but it actually scared me a bit (I was only 10-11 when it first came out). Never got around to playing it until I found it on sale on Steam. Wish I wouldn't have stopped playing it all those years ago, it is great.

Thanks but your too late I've already seen it twice, just to be sure I wasn't dreaming the first time :D But seemed to have come true? It was announced at UbiDays in Paris 3 days ago, that they're developing the sequel and last week there was a comment from Michel Ancel (the mastermind behind this awesome game!) that they've already started working on it a couple of months ago, although they are still only in the very early states of making... Sorry about the long comment, I got carried away :D

Beyond good and evil is the greatest game no-one has ever heard of, I found it when it was on a sale and got it for $20. I would have paid full price had I known how awesome it was, even to this day I pray for BG&E 2. Le sigh.

@Aethersson I paid 7 for it, i think my store was trying to get rid of it. I only had a chance to play a couple hours into it, but was impressed.

Wikipedia: Ancel stated his desire to produce a sequel to the game. Ubisoft announced at the Ubidays 2008 opening conference that there would be a second game. The sequel, tentatively titled Beyond Good & Evil 2, is currently in development.

Hope it hasnt been cancelled!

I totally agree, BGE had some of the finest music I've encountered in game. The Akuda bar theme is also one of my favourites. Thanks for sharing :)
