  • Super Video!!You can download a full movie vshmone.com

  • esse cara e bommmmmmmmmm

  • jet li and jackie chan are gettin old by the minute. donnie yen is the only person i can think of to step up to the plate.

  • i will say 1 or 2 seconds..

  • man.. train some wushu 1st then say its ''useless''

  • i had train some wushu 3 years aso wing tsun and other stiles and the most are useless cause of wrong teaching and some of useless technics. yes every style have usefull and useless technics but why they teached the useless also?

  • They continue to teach the 'useless' techniques for one reason, its called 'tradition'....unfortunately, 'tradition' then casts a shadow over evolution, therefore nothing changes.

  • @jasonzzz5 if ur brain big enough u might be able to work those techniques

  • @kkkfag.....Intelligence cannot make a 'useless' technique an 'efficient technique', without first altering the technique.....Hence the phrase 'useless'.

If 'useless' techniques work for you, good stuff......you could try the one my mate once used : The moment the opponant leads with his offense, drop to the floor and curl up into the 'foetus' position.......if you ever try it out, let me know how it goes for you.

  • Were can i find watch this movie on the net?

  • It's on youtube right now in 13 parts.

  • donny yen is great !!

  • das real chinse power : )

  • dude this is wing-Chun not wushu

way different. its not even wu shu.

all u need to look up the history of it

  • seriously!! that is a slap in the face to call it wushu, it was specifically developed to efficiently use energy without jumping around or making things look bigger than necessary. It's all about protecting and drawing from that centre line people!

  • @JamRockProductions Presicely! :)

  • watched this movie..it was SOOOOOOOOOOO good and heartbreaking :'(

  • its a really cool movie, love it

    memorable, touching, and cool

    love donnie's moves...

  • its already out

  • definitely the best movies i ever seen

  • yeah but traditional wushu from shaolin temple including mantis, tiger, crane and more styles within wich is what i learn not the new idiotic made sport wushu

  • 你是愚蠢的,或什么?武术意味着战争示威。是杂技艺术的功夫。与咏春拳是唯一充分接触用户功夫相反。

  • 哈哈不錯不錯

  • Here u are. The answer your looking for. Wushu literally means, "martial arts" and wing chun means everlasting spring. Wing chun is a close range style of wushu.

  • I juz watch this movie....TWO THUMBS UP!!!!Great Movie!!!

  • Great, it's been ages since I had a decent shag!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAh

  • i hate it man, they should have a chinese movie theater in america so i can see this movie, this movie just came out in china last friday, i wanna see it,

  • Help me plz i whant see this movies ! where i can wach?

  • Can't wait for this movie

  • That's a strange question. WC is part of wushu.

  • Comment removed

  • Is wing chun a type of martial art? If yes, then is part of WuShu (Martial Art in Chinese)

  • Comment removed

  • Hey, Wing Chun is kung fu. Last time I checked, kung fu is part of wushu. THINK before you say anything. And don't bother correcting me, because I TAKE wing chun. I don't think I have my facts wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • wushu in chinese means martial arts, lol. Wing Chun is a type of wushu.

  • I don't know why you morons bitch about how realistic a movie is. If it's realistic, it's a phucking documentary. You've seen movies that had 1 man shot down 100 men, righ? Just apply the same phucking concept, then you will see how 1 man can kicked ass the other 100 men, or leap 2-3 building.

  • There is a news said in 'Ip Man 2' will add in Bruce Lee character which may be will act by Jay Chou-Asia Superstar. Damn Cool!

  • A sequel to the film is in the works and will focus on Yip's disciples, which includes Bruce Lee.

Wong Kar-wai is reportedly working on his own biopic titled The Great Master. The film has been in development and will feature Tony Leung Chiu-Wai as Yip Man

  • Man!! I can't wait for this movie!! I've been asking around the nearby stores if they've got this movie but still no luck yet... I wish they'd play it in theatres here in canada

  • Lol, I don't find any Wing Chun practicioners would fight that way. Those moves aren't included in Wing Chun. I'll forgo this and go for other martial arts movie. I'll go for Kinta my place 1st Kungfu movie, not sure how it's like but anyway it's more realistics though

  • 0.38 - 0.39

dude looks so much like shinoda in linkin park

    maybe its just me, anyway

  • When is it coming out?

  • DONNIE YEN'S!!!! A BEAST!!!!!!!!

cant wait for this movie to come out!! danggg! nigga!

  • Yip Man was not bald until his later years.

As for Donnie Yen, he spent only a few short months learning Wing Chun and in an interview admitted that he's far from being good at it.

There's two sequences in this trailer showing Donnie doing rapid chain punches. In a real life situation, Yip Man would aim for the chin/face/head of the opponent rather than the chest and would only need to execute at the max three punches rather than a sequence of them.

  • I think Donnie Yen is great but if that is true, why not get someone who is good at WC?

In other threads I have tried to say that you only punch at the right time and you shouldn't need more than 3 punches max but I always got screamed down by mma armchair experts...

  • No need to get someone good in WC for a movie, there are alot of special effects and fighting scenes experts.

That is why you can watch Neo doing WC, TKD, karate, etc..etc..

  • Idon't disagree with you :)

My point is that in every WC film I have seen so far it has been stylised and I think all WC practitioners want to see one that is real WC... I guess we can only wait and see...

Either way, this is going to be a great film!

Does anyone know what is happening? Is it going to DVD, cinema around the wordl etc after China?

  • i bet the best wing chun practitioner in the world doesn't even use the name wing chun

  • Donnie yen is not alright he is the best.

  • but again the point must be made, for those who have dedicated their life to the practice and study of Wing Chun, Danny's "ok" at best, he's not that good at Wing Chun and if you interviewed him I'm sure he'd admit as much.

  • Wing Chun is what you make it. It is always efficient, can be fast, can be brutal, can be very powerful.

most people talk about WC, not so many actually do it.

Danny is alright, I just give him a hard time becuase most people forget he's an actor first, and jack of all trades second. but to be fair he is one of the HK actors who has inherited the tradition that to be a successful action star you actually have to have "some" kung fu.

    Wing Chun rules! 天下第一!

  • actually, he's jack of all trade first and actor second. he had a strong background in MA long before making movies.

  • jack of all trade actually means he's not good at any particular MA but rather fishy in every one of them..

  • except that he still trained and still trains most of them making him more than good.

  • it's a shame I can't see donnie's friend michael woods appear in this film....

  • Donnie Yen is one of few "great" action stars out there. He does great justice in many styles he incorporate into his films. The wing chun looks good, and he does resemble Yip Man in his early days. I'm anticipating a good movie. =)

  • too bad he didn't shave his head though. could've been perfect without the hair:p

  • I WAHNT DOWLOAD THEM.

  • Man cannot wait!!!

  • when is this shit gonna be release i wanna see it so bad

  • This movie has a pretty good cast. Wu Jing isn't in this but another guy to look out for is Fan Siu Wong. You can find clips of him here on youtube. He's a little older now, but i hope he has some good fights with Donnie.

  • Louis Fan is actually in his mid 30s so he's not that old.

  • from what I've heard of, Louis is a expert Hung Ga style kung fu.

  • wing tsun is not complicated. You can state that it is complex, but everyone can learn. In wing tsun it is not an advantage to have huge mussels or be strog. Speed is the onlything that decides the outcome of a fight in Wing Tsun.

Most "sifos" (your trainer) state that a hard punch i made of timing and speed! If anyone want to learn I know some good places around Scandinavia

  • It's not all about speed. Wing Chun is great not just because of that, but because of it's efficient use of time, space, structure, and energy. Also, just like Tai Chi Chuan, it yields/redirects/guides energy rather than fighting energy with brute force.

  • Scientifically speaking, Wing Chun would rank as the number one fist to fist fighting style.

But life is not perfect. Whether or not one can win a fight using Wing Chun depends solely on that person, and not the style.

  • thank you. im so sick of these ufc redneck fans who talk shit about WC or any other form of MA that doesnt require the need for a cage. its always this style will beat this style. its about the man and situation. U aint gonna take me down and CHOKE me out if i KNOCK u out first.

  • yeah

  • well said

  • Wing Chun looks complicated, but I would love 2 learn it one day

  • I recommend it. It is not complicated. It is simplicity... at its best.

  • I met Yip Man's son Yip Chung in Real Life...

    SERIOUSLY....

  • YIP MAN the master of Bruce Lee, look it up if ya don't believe me

  • Now that jackie chan is old and semi retired, while Jet li is using his brand name but no kungfu to sell his movie, Donnie Yen is the only real action star left in hong kong.

  • i really wanna see donnie yen in drunken master mode.. drunken master 4 perhaps..

  • there is a movie where he does drunken style. Its called Fist of the red dragon

  • the real title is: Heroes Among Heroes

  • he did do a drunken master mode in hero among heros and it doesnt match him that well.

  • dont forget sammo hung, and wu jing.

  • sammo hung cant act for jack

  • You Forgot About Wujing

  • aww nvm hes only helping out, btw isn't that Hiroyuki from GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka)

  • Ye, it is.

  • coool, :O

  • Holy $#*@! SAMMO HUNG!? SWEet, Donnie Yen is good already ,but Sammo Hung, nicee!

  • can`t wait until it comes out!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully they make an english version of it.

  • cuando se estrena la pelicula en españa

  • Can't wait, when is it going to come out!!!!

  • I just hope the original is in cantonese.

  • when Yip man fight with Japanese??????

  • No just japanese, but about 30 of them...

  • oh god this i have to see and have

  • id rather see some more of his contemporary mma-like stuff , the flashpoint end fight was awesome

  • Comeon...he's already done two!

  • making more MMA would get people tired, like those repetitive Tony Jaa movies. leave more room for variety.

  • I see your point , might be true , something traditional might be refreshing for him.. ,on the other hand as for my tastes im kinda tired with those traditional wirefu-like flicks, but yeah thats just me :)

  • evidently the movie is to be told in stories or memories of him by people who knew him or legends, so parts may be wire fu, but other parts should be straight up traditional wing chun, which makes me very happy :)

  • that's a classic sammo hung movie, with wire fu

  • okay i can't say i know anything for sure, if you say so, one would hope that they wouldn't put a lot of wire fu in a wing chun movie, haha wing chun doesn't really lend its self to it

  • but at the end of day they need to do something to make a more attractive fight scene, so.....

  • It's a shame when people want to say that they are fans of Hong Kong action movies and yet use stupid terms like "wire fu" which make the whole thing sound like a joke.

  • Yet, after you actually know how to fight... it just seems not fun to see someone tied to a rope swinging around like capitan cape man...

That is what I came to like about Tony Jaa, in Ong Bak and such, after I realized Jack Chan was more a puppet than a stunt man...

  • Agree with michelleestigher, Donnie Yen's fight is always exagerated where he could start kicking a guy from point A and ends at point B 20feet away. Wire is ridiculous as human can't fly. Ong Bak fighting style is good but again he's like invincible and super strong. Check out "Kinta" my country's first kungfu film. D latest Wushu starring Sammo Hung is superb during fight scene with villains

  • I don't care if it is not precicsly realistic. There is nothing wrong with fancy kicks and acrobatics on TV, and it is quite impressive. But what is impressive about a man tied to a peive of rope getting flung around by mechanics? That is all.

  • michelleestigher, sorry I'm not so clear with ur phrase "But what is impressive about a man tied......mechanics?" Are u agree or disagree with fight scene involving wires and flying in martial art movie? I've just watched Kinta 1881 n it's d best kungfu movie ever made in my country though its storyline is little messy. Fight scene is superb, no such thing as enemies would move around n let the hero bash

  • How much more clear can I make it?

If I want to watch a puppet show then I will get pinocioh...

  • Okay, i got ya. That means I agreed with the right person. To share with u, those exagerated flying kungfu idea was taken from ancient chinese manuscripts on spiritual meditation whereby a person who mastered it could fly like david copperfield n fire invisible bolt that could strike a person like getting punched n could reveal ghost as the bolt fly pass them. Type Kinta 1881, watch it n gimme ur comments. Many locals here bashed that film as it's locally made

  • "Donnie Yen's fight is always exagerated where he could start kicking a guy from point A and ends at point B 20feet away."

that's common in HK movies but doesn't mean that they overuse the technique, so generalizations like that are rather ignorant. go watch any single DY movie and you'll see few of these tricks in there.

  • DiPCreative, no generalisation. U could c that I said some. Jackie's fight is more practical and realistic. Donnie's fighting technique is more for learning how to do tricks especially his nice jumping back kick trademark. I'm against fake Kungfu that is exagerated. Bad influence for martial artist in real fight. Never expect 1 kick or punch could fall ur attacker especially when ur outnumbered

  • "DiPCreative, no generalisation. U could c that I said some."

maybe but statements like "Donnie's fighting techniques is more for learning how to do tricks" pretty much sums up your biased/ignorant opinion on what he's really capable off both in terms of MA and filmmaking.

  • "Jackie's fight is more practical and realistic."

realistic but not at all practical, haha. nobody fights like that in reality (unless delusional individuals come into play).

  • Hi DiPCreative! For those who trained till they fight like martial artists should, they do fight like that in real fight. Just don't expect the thugs would fall in single blow. Donnie fights well in movie when he's not the choreographer like in SPL. Else it'll b like in lone wolf n this 1. hover in d air n launch futsan mou ying kiok n this time auto-punch

  • you mean to tell me that long-time practitioners fight EXACTLY like Jackie (move around alot, use objects in environment, fight off one at a time etc, all that stuff exactly) does in his movies? lol! for real...

he was actually the choreographer for SPL and also for Flash Point. you can see that everything he choreographed are based on real techniques and not tricks like you think.

  • Not to say fight off 1 at a time, sometimes 2 to 3 depends on opponents' skill. If no fighting skill it's ok but if he's tough, armed with machete or has martial art background, don't expect easy hit. In real fight, u have to save ur energy as ur attacker might bring in men with him n unashamed cowards would use attacker from front as decoy whereas the real attacker comes from behind. Try not to get into grapple as they could be stink n some r protected by spirit

  • Jackie Chan a puppet? True that in some of his latest films, there is wire fu. But everyone knows that in most of his films there is no flying on wires and such.

  • Jackie Chan a puppet? True that in some of his latest years, there is wire fu. But everyone knows that in most of his films there is no flying on wires and such.

And wait until Tony Jaa will be 54 years old like JC. He will use wires too.

  • To make a good Kung Fu movie you do not have to fly. I do not agree.

When Jackie Chan and Jet Li were young it was about acrobatics. But in styled fights like in "Fearless" it was about technique, even if some wires were used, and it looks a lot better than things like "Forbidden Kingdom" where it is just a fairytale. I like the mature perspective, I like acrobats, but there is no reason fancy moves can not be substituted with good technique and still be a good movie. Maybe like this movie??

  • that is great that modern wushu master Donnie Yen brings to the screen a traditional wushu master of the sizd of Ip Man!!! this movie gets 5 stars from masteringwushu . com

  • wait didn't jet li did this already

  • he played another kung fu legend. this isn't the same character.

  • oh ok

  • Can't wait!
