Car and driver say sti better all around and so does motor trend but both are nice and the guy that owns both must be doing all right there 40g I got a blacked out 08 sti and kno a kid with evo alot ppl like the way my sti rides over evo. Lets not forget the boxer rumble

2nd - Every review i have seen shows the EVOX faster + better handling than any 08+Sti. So im not sure what video your watching - PLEASE SHARE.

and last - to each his own - both are awesome cars both can get great power from simple mods. like i said i own both - 10 STI Hatch and a EVO X. The STI more comfortable and more room. the Evo Faster Sharper and alot more fun.

I've owned both as well but just own one now. My Subaru is faster on launch but my evo kills it in handling. If i drove that subaru while you were racing with your evo, I would have beat you.LOL. Its all on who is driving it. There both close in speed but the Subaru is slightly faster as shown in the reviews. I Like the evo better Just because you can upgrade it more without worrying about messing something up. Also, the handling is tits.

I love evos but seriously the sti is not a good roll car. The sti is 99% just a 1/8th mile car because of the gear ratios and 2.5l. Would have been a 10x better race if it was from a dig.

@LambdaQuarks- To get your weight down in your 10 get the ams small battery kit, gut your trunk and drain your washer fluid. I also have the frp do luck trunk and my 10 came in at just over 3300lbs, then you can take out the rear seat when your racing also and that'll shave another 60lbs

Whatever the outcome.. both these cars are THE SHIT. They bring so much fun into daily driving and usablity along with a decent price range. I love these cars. I have an 08 WRX.. My favorite part about subaru is the sound. the new evo x looks sick. cant wait for the 2011 STI vs 2011 Evo reviews..

LoL at the guy who said the evo weight is 3,131lbs lol. Man, I wish my X weighted at that. I took it to a truck stop and it weight in at 3,714lbs, I have the SSS and navi package if it makes any difference. :(

truly these cars determine who is the better driver hahaha... every now and then i see sti vs evo on the track just not pulling away, and there are days were the evo flies away or sti... it depends on mods and driver period

the sti accelerates slower then the evo... I think we all knew that O.O it has 305 and the X has 296, 9 bhp doesn't make much of a difference if you ask me and from a rolling start 0-60 results are void.
