I talk a lot about Raw food on my Youtube channel- HealthUnprocessed

    Dr Egypt xx

  • Great toda y

  • This looks awesome! Can't wait to try it, thanks!

  • these 2 are aesthetic-less. What happened to elegance and beauty and kind gentleness? Food must be treated as a blessing, not as just ...

  • @Mart5fam - a spice and nut grinder is great for grinding flax. We have a little cuisinart one that we love for grinding flax and ceylon cinnamon sticks.

  • Where is your blog? Also, how do you grind flax seed? I am a new subscriber. I've tried grinding them in a food process also a mortar and pedstal but they are so tiny the don't grind. Sometimes I want to get the full benefit of flax seeds. Thanks for your help.

  • I love her!

  • any good flax bead recipe guys?

  • I am so glad to see that you are raw, I need some help with breakfast. Thanks.

  • Thanks for posting these videos. I'm diabetic and looking at moving to a raw food diet. Good info!

  • these look delicious!

  • can we use ground flax seeds instead of whole ones

  • @TheYvonne1313 I believe so I have watched a couple videos on flax crackers and in most of them the people said either would work

  • You both are THE best and such fun people with zest for a healthful life. I am new to raw foods (not exclusively raw yet) and just bought a food dehydrator today. Woo Hoo!!!! :) I cant wait to try making my own crackers soon . . . very soon. Thanks.

  • Just bought a dehydrator so these flax crackers will be one of the first things I try. Thanks for sharing.

    Rita

  • they are gonna want to come back so make sure you serve it to people you like

    hahahah! love it

  • ...a lil hello....

  • the girl is a pleasure to watch buy man, the guy sounds so annoyingly over the top...i watch it in mute...tone it down , mate...

  • I like this video ok, but as the other viewers suggested could we get a little help with the measurements and proportions? THAT would make this an outstanding video. I've about given up finding any youtube video that can do justice to something that should be as simple as presenting a basic, well documented, flax seed cracker recipe. Sure, you proved YOU jcan do it. How can EYE do it? LOL

  • I notice on your videos when you demonstrate a recipe you say a little of this a little of that..Can you please tell the exact amount of measurments you use. Newbie's Raw Food People I know tell me about your You Tube Recipes. It's discouraging to watch when someone is trying to get help on learning a recipe to make, and I agree. We like your twosome giggles and all your videos are inspiring and cool. Please say what your exact measurments are for a great tasting recipe. Beautiful Couple.

  • would it work if I ground up the flax seeds first in a coffee grinder?

  • I've done this recipe this Xmas, it's really delicious. Thanks guys! please keep them coming! love you both, : ) xx

  • You mean gloves, right? Well, it's not like YOU're gonna eat it...

  • Hi! I love you guys! You are one of my favorite raw couples, you and Matt and Angela. All of you have such great personalities. And as couples, are so cute together. I have been spreading the word about raw veganism. I even inspired some of my friends to start off as vegetarians, as I did years ago, since this is all fairly new to them. Great recipes, as usual! Keep them coming.

  • hello

  • im making this!!!!

  • Hello! I am on my third day of eating raw, the first day was pretty hard for me, but when I went to the store, I got things that are helping me,,,,,"such as cashews" and bananas, I feel really good, my feet "I know that sounds dumb to talk about my feet" but my feet and ankles look so good...."i had swollen ankles" well they are not swollen now....just after two days, such a great result of eating raw, I am going to subscribe and try to live healthy xoxoxo thanks so much for helping me xo

  • omg!!! i understand as soon as i began eat raw its as if my ankle size went down and i feel better. the first month was the hardest it was so bad i went backj to noirmal foods then raw and back and fourth but i started again on the first of dec. and it has been amazing its hard, but not as hard as before we can do this!

  • Hello, Kev and Ann MArie. I love watching you 2. It cheers me up just so...so much good energy coming from you...

and a good laugh :-) Love you.

  • Where can I find your blog? Great show guys! Can we get some quantities for the ingredients?!! I'd love to try the flax crackers but not sure how much flax seeds to soak, not sure if I'm supposed to include the soak water from the sunflower seeds, etc. Got tons of questions for ya ... just don't know where your blog is! =)

  • I am sorry I am not commenting but I am unable to watch your videos from the site or my e-mail. I have to access from U-tube (thank goodness!) and I have missed a lot and am still trying to play catch up. Keep up the good work...love the recipe videos! PS..why no garlic or jalepenos in the guacamole?

  • hi first time watching on of your shows and im impressed im going to have to get a dehidrator and start eating raw. Thanks for being so precise

  • I'm good! Trying out my new gardenmaster dehydrator, I got a little bit of a lot of stuff in there. red and orange Bell peppers, cantaloupe, grapes, plums, onions, a raspberry apple banana fruit roll up, oranges, and a few other things. I'm also soaking some wheat berries to try and make some "bread" or crackers. Also got some ground brown and golden flax seed going to try and make some "crackers' out of those. It's been an adventure!

  • During this video you mentioned quietness on the blog, I am so sorry for being one of those that watches your show a lot and have never commented. I am 98 days raw and I am at a cool moment in my new raw lifestyle, I am waiting on my first dehydrator! Just ordered my Excalibur 5 tray the other day and can't wait to try the flaxseed crackers, I do miss the crunch. I have lost 40 lbs in the past 98 days and have too many miracles going on , I can't document all of them here. I feel so great !!!!!

  • Is there a dehydrator that you recommend? How much would you spend?

  • I so enjoyed watching you two! I'm new to the raw food world, and I am really enjoying the change!

  • rawsome!! I'm in the process of installing Finale; aside from the prospect of putting to use these recipes, I'm suuper excited about this program!

  • I love you guys :)

  • is it possible to bake or toast the flax mix since I don't have a dehydrator?

  • does flax ever go bad?

i have an unopened bag in my cupboard...

not sure if ill die if i eat it.

  • I read somewhere that if it has a fishy smell or flavor to it, it has gone rancid and you should throw it out...its supposed to have a sort of nutty flavor to it...good luck!

  • I don't remember who told me this, but it was someone trustworthy - I throw it out after six months.

  • whole flax seed stays good on your counter for 2 years! It has a very hard outer surface. that is why people grind it in an herb or dedicated coffee grinder in order to get the EFA. Other wise it will come out the way it went in. Ground flax should be refrigerated because of the fat content, or if you freeze it, it does not freeze into a block. Golden flax tastes far better to me then the most common brown. It's all super cheap in bulk. It is fiber so don't eat it all up the first time!

  • Hi-I'm 59 (in 2 weeks) and went about 80-90% raw a couple of months ago. I feel so much better and the weight is coming off so easily-easiest diet ever, although I am eating this way for health reasons. I am enjoying your videos-thanks!

  • Please stop shouting. Laughing ok.

  • hello how are you

  • i make mine the same but i use lime and i add garlic and jalapeno.try it.i garantee you will like it.

  • Seems to me that raw cooking pretty much requires very little measuring. That is how I normally like to cook!

  • Is there an easier way to get a "cracker" to put your guacamole? That looks so good. Thanks.

  • Looks great!!

    Definitely going to try!

do the cherry tomatoes really make a difference in the guac?

  • Great video! Thanx!!!

  • I just ran across your video and after scrolling through some of your videos, I'm definitely subscribing. Thank you so much!

  • Wow, you guys have crazy energy. You're making me nervous. :P

But really, I hope I have this much insane energy when I get my excalibur in the mail. Thanks for the demo!!!!!

  • what is a good dehydrator to buy?

  • The Excalibur is the best.

  • I tried this Recipe. As a matter of fact it's in the dehydrator right now. The problem that I'm having is the fact that the "Crackers" are Green in color. Not to bad as far as taste is concerned, But I was left to my own devices since the recipe didn't come with any kind of measurements unless of course they are somewhere in the "Comments" section and I have just overlooked them. Later!!!!

  • Hi,

Thanks for the recipe. It's easy to see the proof to the adage "you are what you eat". You guys convey groundedness, fun, and committed consciousness. Thanks for sharing your passion and inspiring choice. I have to buy a dehydrater now.

  • Firstly, I think you guys are great, nice job.

As far as the hand thing, what did people do before plastic gloves were invented. And, you think you're safe when you see someone with the plastic thingys? Well, just today I saw a person in a restaurant, with his little trusty gloves making a sandwich. He wiped his nose (with his trusty little gloves on) then proceeded to make the sandwich.

It's all about the people, and I'm sure these guys wash their hands and are spotless.

  • I hope you don't make food for people outide of your family.

I never understand why Vegans love to put their naked hands in food while cooking. That's Nasty!

At any rate, good recipe. Thanks for sharing, but hands in the food always grosses me out. It's unhygienic and rude.

    VEGANS STOP USING YOUR HANDS!

  • If you watch any cooking shows, you'll notice most chefs use their hands in recipes. Look especially for kid-friendly recipes. It's not just us Vegans ^_^

  • what do you think hands are used for .......why do you think we even have hands.... TO USE!!!!

  • Whatever!

We also use our hands to wipe our ass. I know a lot of cooks use their hands. Also, I'm raw vegan that's why it irks me.

The food is not being heated to kill the germs/bacteria.

Anyway, when I go out and I see the chef/cook whatever scratching their nose, digging in their crotch, then touching food. I say GROSS!

Leaf Cuisine is particularly nasty in that regard. They have people with AIDS lesions on their hands serving food without GLOVES!

  • Hi you guys...great show, I just started raw a 3 days ago and so far I haven't cracked...but thanks for the recipe

  • Hello, I just ran across your video and am I happy. I have just started the raw food journey and am thrilled to see how you made the flax crackers and guac....have a great day

    in light,

    Jolene

  • Hey. I'm really into this whole raw food thing. But most of these ingredients arent available here in Tobago, and even if it is it's really expensive. Food in general is very expensive. I am not going to give up though. I know it will pay off in the long run.

  • I'm great today, thanks! Glad I came across your vid, I enjoyed it. I do make my guac a bit different (I add garlic, red pepper & cumin). I like the flax cracker recipe, sounds great!

  • Looks amazing! Thanks for posting, can't wait to try it!

  • you guys are great! Keep it up!

  • Hi! i like the show. i like the food. i like you guys.

  • Hi--I just watched your show for the first time.I enjoyed it.I have two questions:I love eating raw and most items that are used in recipes but I DO NOT like cilantro. Can something be substituted for the cilantro? Also, for the flax crackers can you grind them up more so you can get more benefit from the omega 3? If so, would you grind them up before soaking since they get so slimy or is it best to do it after soaking?I'll check out more of your videos when I have more time. Thanks!

  • Hey Kevin,

I have just started to embrace the raw food, vegan lifestyle so your video are helping me feel confident about making raw meals. Thanks

  • I agree guacamole is magical!

I never make it the same way twice either but it always tastes amazing! :-)
