  • Heard the word microwave and instantly stopped watching.

  • you are both very sexy!

  • i didn't have chili flakes but i used a dash of chili powder and some cajun pepper, they turned out great!!

  • One suggestion. Stay away from russet potato. Best choice would be yukon gold potato

  • @ebaysingh09

    Thanks!

  • now if i dont wat all the spises would u make it the same or would it be cooked and made diff

  • @TokioHotel220

You can pick and choose your spices. The cooking time and method remains the same.

  • i have gas oven so how much time to preheat oven?

  • @reenachitra : !5 min. should be good!

    Enjoy :)

  • They nuked the potato wedges lmao!! N I also think if it's such a quick snack y stir the thing with a spoon...?? Serious waste of time. Just dump in a bag with seasoning and presto!!! Shit, I should b president...

  • Thanks guys for showing me this,...I'm also a big potato lover(french fries, chips, tater tots,Potato Wedges,..all kind) and vegetarian. I would appreciate if you guys can show me how to make different kind of food that can be prepared easily for breakfast or lunch using potato. Just one episode with instruction if can,..or what ever easy 4 u guys. Thank you so much for sharing.

  • @americansweetfox

Have you seen our Breakfast Burrito video? (Well, it's really not a burrito...more of a quesadilla). Please see our youtube channel or our website: ShowMeTheCurry (dot) com.

  • I havn't but i will make sure i do,...and the channel looks full of exciting foods,.... THanks ladies.

  • Cainey66 = Have you checked the price of stock lately? I don't believe it enhances the taste enough to use.

A local restaurant in my New Orleans area has baked potatoes on the menu. If you order Cajun Fries, they wedge the potatoes, and fry them. They are delicious.

    Bighunk

  • thanks :)

  • I make mine differently.

Cut potatoes into wedges. Place potatoes into doubled plastic grocery bag for strength

Pour about two tablespoons of oil on top of potatoes in bag, and shake well.

Mix all spices together, and sprinkle half into bag, shake, add remainder of spices, and shake again. Line your large pan with foil, and dump the potatoes on the pan, then spread them out evenly. Bake for 35 minutes and check for doneness. Joe

  • Thanks for sharing :)

    thanks

  • this recipe is great! a great alternative (and way better than) french fries!

  • Marry me!

  • you guys are awesome !!! i tried this recipe and the wedges were a total hit !!!

  • what do you think about adding egg? for a more golden look.

  • Never tried it. We'd love to hear your feedback if you try it.

  • I did yesterday, I used a spoon of flour and an egg, blended it well and ran the potatoes through that (and all the spices that you used in the video and oil) and they were golden and crispy on the outside, just beautiful :)

    I did add basil though.

  • It made them crispier than they'd normally be?

  • Exactly :)

  • I think potato wedges need to be deep fried. Just one of those items...

  • Of course you can have a lot of recipies, but fried potatoes are very bad for your health and weight :) If you eat them occasionally, there shouldn't be a problem.

  • Yep. In moderation...

What do you like to cook?

  • Wow! Sounds great. We'll have to try it out next time. Thanks for taking the time to post your feedback for others.

  • It was my pleasure :)

  • my homade recipe is very similar to yours but I use Tyme and Oregano seperatly, I use garlic salt and not fresh garlic, I don't use the dried mango powder and I use Cayenne Pepper instead of Chilli Flakes, but I think yours is better. I don't agree on using the microwave though.

  • never put fresh food in a microwave, ruins the taste even if put in for minute doesnt matter what anybody says still ruins it best if you just boil them in a little salted water for 3 minutes THEN put them in the oven for 30 mins. the spices you choose are the best idea for this recipe and is a good idea and i am not slagging anybody off before any starts
