Interesting Comment...The algae in the waters of the harbor is not the fault of visitors who bring much needed revenue to the village. Many coastal areas suffer similar problems due to phosphates being released into the water courses. I enjoy visiting Mevagissey, hence this video, this is my way of sharing this beautiful place with others, entirely as it should be, Mevagissey, or any other part of Cornwall for that matter is not the exclusive domain of the Cornish people, it belongs to us all.
Well said! I'm surprised you're not proud of your beautiful Cornwall. Algae and fish kills in harbours all over the world are a by product of run off from chemicals used in farming. It's happening here too on the other side of the world in Aus. Restricting run off of these chemicals is something we all should be demanding - so that our children's children still have the opportunity to value the beauty of this place. One has to think outside the square and be pro active and informed.
This is beautiful, Cornwall is as lovely as I'd imagined. The colours are so vibrant. To watch this uploaders presentations is to lose yourself in another worlld for a while. Aside from being beautiful, they are SO relaxing!
