I saw him play twice once at the Roxy where he was simply amazing then I saw him support shipwreck at the Troubadour and that show was........ it was WOW! Encore was a Bowie cover of the song Cracked Actor. Nuff said.
I saw him a number of years back doing an acoustic set opening for Meg Lee Chin. Great set! He was quite a nice guy, too. After the concert as I was leaving I saw him outside coming from a nearby coffee shop and asked him to please come back to Cleveland someday and perform again. I hope he will.
My favorite Chris Connelly song EVER!! The man has proved himself a *capital* songwriter, poet, singer, experimentalist...and a top-notch performer. I've only ever seen him perform with Pigface, but he will *definitely* get ya out ya seat! Thank for posting this lovely gem!
