I owned a R32 GTR for about 4 years, built it up to 775awhp @ 32psi on an old TO4E turbo with a 1.32 hotside. It was laggy but even gave bikes a run on top speed.
Also given the choice over again, i'd rather have the BMW, drive it daily and keep it stock, the resale values here are better for BMW's than skylines I can tell you that!

My dad was a really famous mechanic in OC and he made a Mod for his Golf (back in like 87(i think) that made his golf have like 100 more HP and it only takes about 1 hour to install, it was a VW (German made) so thouse are really easy to Mod but German cars are the most reliable cars out on the road, yes japanese cars are nice but i would have to go with a german car over a japanese (unless that japanese car was a Skyline lol)

Are you sure you know anything about drag racing???? Its not that the weight of the car goes to the back. A AWD car looses tons of its power splitting the power up between the front and back wheels. a RWD is horrible off the line but has the best top end. AWD have the best takeoff and the worst top end bc of the power loss. Now, most AWD cars dont send 50/50 to the wheels. They send around 30 to the front and 70 to the rear.
If you put a 1000hp AWD car vs a 1000hp RWD car on a 1/4 mile the AWD will usally win! Depending on the driver and the gear ratio setup. Just because of the huge jump the AWD would get off the line. Any thing over that 1/4 mile and the RWD would win. So learn your facts before you go trying to teach your false information. This is why half the worlds people are complete retards. People always bullshitting their way through life.
But it still would not compete with the AWD off the line and when your dealing with that much power the AWD would have such a huge lead that the RWD would have a time trying to catch up.

IMO Nissan are the most advanced jap car manufacturer, Ive got a 94 GTS-T, Its modified a bit, Churns out about 320 bhp, For a 16 yr old car it is so ahead of its time, Ie Hicas rear wheel steering, an ECU that you can reset and it will learn your driving, aircon, electric folding mirrors, mega adjustable drivers seat etc, etc. Ok mines low mileage but pple cant believe how tight and rattle free it is, You can take the standard engine internals to abt 500 bhp before putting forged stuff in !

i dont know about german cars being the best,i think they have advantages in areas,but a japanese car is alot easier to get your hands on and make decent power for reasonable outlay.a german car will cost more to buy in desirable models,and cost alot more to mod,but im not saying they arent advanced..as for american?what cars are we talking about here?that put them ahead of japanese

My dad was a really famous mechanic in OC and he made a Mod for his Golf (back in like 87(i think) that made his golf have like 100 more HP and it only takes about 1 hour to install, it was a VW (German made) so thouse are really easy to Mod but German cars are the most reliable cars out on the road, yes japanese cars are nice but i would have to go with a german car over a japanese (unless that japanese car was a Skyline lol)

both nice cars, nowadays 500+ horsepower cars normally has its advantages and disadvantages, the better car is getting the power to the ground and the suspension work to support otherwise horsepower is just plain fun horsepower. I respect the builds more than anything, some builds just look like money and others look like the skyline in this case (thought-out) The bimmer is nice though :)

Are you sure you know anything about drag racing???? Its not that the weight of the car goes to the back. A AWD car looses tons of its power splitting the power up between the front and back wheels. a RWD is horrible off the line but has the best top end. AWD have the best takeoff and the worst top end bc of the power loss. Now, most AWD cars dont send 50/50 to the wheels. They send around 30 to the front and 70 to the rear.

If you put a 1000hp AWD car vs a 1000hp RWD car on a 1/4 mile the AWD will usally win! Depending on the driver and the gear ratio setup. Just because of the huge jump the AWD would get off the line. Any thing over that 1/4 mile and the RWD would win. So learn your facts before you go trying to teach your false information. This is why half the worlds people are complete retards.
