  • Um... this is NOT a ripoff of "I'm Impressed". Whoever thinks it is... is definitely stretching...

  • I'm pretty sure this is only a ripoff of "I'm Impressed" if you consider everything ever related to gladiatorial combat to be a ripoff of "I'm Impressed." It's a trope idea, the idea of gladiatorial combat is something most people know about, thus we can all instantly connect to the idea. As for the use of cardboard, that's also something we can connect to. A shipping company using cardboard boxes is an instantly-recognizable medium.

  • I purposely don't watch a lot of commercials but I do love the good ones. This is a great idea. Not your usual run of the mill. Love the story line, idea, effects, sound...everything.

    "I'm impressed" is to "Gladiator" what

    "land line" to "cell phone."

    Kudos to the ad agency

    "Yeah, we know UPS does a lot of stuff, so we are going to only use one element in our spot...cardboard!"

    This spot blows.

    Nice color palette - UPS brown good. Cardboard shit brown bad.

  • If you watch the end closely, watch the woman after the ups guy says "we do a lot more then shipping." She looks down, and back up and then the guy smiles. Yea, thats right. UPS does a LOT more than shipping ; ) lol!!!
