It's been a few years now since I did it. There are a number of sites that show you how to do it. The big issue really is the compatibility. Since I have Vista I haven't been able to get it to work. Also CVS updates the firm wear so you can't hack it. The program I used back then may not work now. Just Google "how to hack CVS camcorder"
