Come on, what's so special about this? Bowling on a well used Old Trafford wicket with huge footholes. I have been fortunate enough to play on a used wicket at Old Trafford (a natural spinning wicket anyway) as I play for the nearest club to the ground, and if you can land the ball in them holes, the batsman has no chance.
I think this is the delvery that spun more than what hawkeye was programmed to predict. Ie it spun so much it broke hawkeye. When they configured hawkeye so that the ball could be measured it showed the ball was missing leg by a fair way.
If you had any experience of anything relating to cricket, you would know that Warne threw the ball just like muralitharan does. Watch his wrist, its bent over which technically means it is a throw, so even after putting aside the fact that Warne is a drug cheating wife beater , his reputation as a cricketer is worth absolute shit.

Actually they did a hawkeye, and amazingly it predicted the ball to be missing leg by near enough a foot. The ball was predicted to have turned four feet from where it pitched to where it would have ended level with the bowling crease if it got that far.
Cool, I was a leg spinner too. When I lived in England (which I presume you do). I had a tactic to get big spin that relied on a peculiar set of circumstances. 1 go round the wicket very wide near to the return crease as poss 2 Pop it in enourmously short and slow3 bowl from the low end of our sloping pitch. 4 have a pitch so crappy that the ball stays very low when pitched wide. lame I know, but it occasionally worked against a new batsman and looked good when it bowled them through their legs.
thats why he is the best spin bowler and one of the best bowlers ever. Because he has a great cricketing mind, great turn and even better line and length able to bowl it in the rough everytime.

that would of gone on to hit but with that turn or the rough the ball could have ended up heading towards square leg

Actually they did a hawkeye, and amazingly it predicted the ball to be missing leg by near enough a foot. The ball was predicted to have turned four feet from where it pitched to where it would have ended level with the bowling crease if it got that far.

Cool, I was a leg spinner too. When I lived in England (which I presume you do). I had a tactic to get big spin that relied on a peculiar set of circumstances. 1 go round the wicket very wide near to the return crease as poss 2 Pop it in enourmously short and slow3 bowl from the low end of our sloping pitch. 4 have a pitch so crappy that the ball stays very low when pitched wide. lame I know, but it occasionally worked against a new batsman and looked good when it bowled them through their legs.

thats why he is the best spin bowler and one of the best bowlers ever. Because he has a great cricketing mind, great turn and even better line and length able to bowl it in the rough everytime.

the only reason u think murali is better is because he has taken all his wickets on spinning pitches against countries like bangladesh, get him to come get some wickets against aust or england. murali is a good bowler but warney is an absoloute legend.

err, how is that not playing a shot. He was just caught napping by the ridiculous turn out of the rough - the bat is pretty close to the line of the ball. Outside the line, not out..
And Murali's bowled some balls that have turned severely, and nobody said anything abt tampering - the usual stuff abt his throwing remains.

couldn't be out because was hit outside line when 'not playing a shot'...but I really think he wasn't attempting a valid shot (merely an afterthought to avoid an lbw). Hence should be out in my opinion, i dunno
