When I'm driving down the highway, and I see on of those signs that say "God/Jesus is pro-life..Are you?" I just muse. Really....Really? Looking at the world, throughout the centuries, one would get the impression that God is rather apathetic towards human life. From the black plague, up to the sinking of the Titanic, Nazi death-camps, and on to 9/11, just to name a very few. And when does it become God's decision (that is, God "allows" it to happen), and NOT man's? Hmmm. I'm just saying....

The New cannot exist without the Old. But don't take my word for it........ Evolution is a sound theory with plenty enough evidence, if you care to look. If the evidence did not support the theory, the theory would be overturned and discarded. THAT is the scientific method.

There's a few passages in the Bible that are anti-children and one verse actually says for a cheating woman to take some kind of water with ink to abort a fetus if she did cheat. Even the Church didn't become insanely pro-life until the mid-1800s. The Church may have lost it's mind more and more with time. Though it never had it completely. Black cats as instruments of the devil (and animal issues overall, with the Church) and women being property and all that.
