I was there that night, and although it was one of over twenty Neil Concerts (even one where I was in the front row) I will never forget being there when Neil played Fenway!

I was at the concert, behind home plate in the luxury boxes, and he opened with this and halfway through did a second rendition, and immediately following that, did an encore version, so the Fenway Faithful got it 3 times. The next day he flew to St Louis (I believe) and had to cancel the show because he sang his heart out in Boston and was too raspy to perform.

WOW..I've been spending the last 2 hours bumping around listening to Neil on you tube here..there was a live concert in around 1971 he did in BBC ..and I commented that the audience never even sang and rarely clapped. Then I got here..Now this is a CONCERT..made the hair on the back of my neck stand up...rock on forever Neil!!

I was there! August 23, 2008. He lost his voice right after this show. Took a couple of weeks off.

I was at the Staples Center concert back in October. I would have to say that this was one of my ultimate favorite songs that he played. Keep it up Neil.

I have never seen him live, only on youtube. I love his music! Do you ever think he gets tired of doing this song? I couldn't imagine how the crowd would react if he didn't sing this classic.
